Congratulations Wizards!! 🎊 The Windsor High School girls’ golf team closed out its season today with a 4th place finish at the Class 4A state tournament held at Country Club of Colorado in Colorado Springs. The Wizards, who call Pelican Lakes their home, fired a two-day score of 540 (55-over) to place behind Erie (460 strokes), Holy Family (520) and Steamboat Springs (526). Windsor junior Macy Kleve followed up a first round 86 with a stellar 1-over 72 on Tuesday to take second overall with a 158 (16-over). Erie’s Logan Hale claimed medalist honors with an even par 142. Windsor senior, and Pelican Lakes member, Alexa Strohman, tied for 36th with rounds of 96-94 - 190 (48-over). Classmate Allison Sanger tied for 41st with a 90-102 - 192 (50-over). All of us at Pelican Lakes are proud of your successes this spring, girls!!

Scott Kosola has two holes in one at Pelican Lakes, but the one he earned on April 12 was his first outside. Nearly eight years ago to the day, the longtime member earned an ace on one of The Sand Bar simulators. Yesterday, Scott finally knocked one in on the real course when he aced #4 on The Lakes from 195 yards out. Steady as she goes as always, Scott!
