It’s time for another Christmas Tree Raffle showcase! This one we’d have to say is the Bee’s knees! It’s a lovely tree that was created by the Cowley CourierTraveler. It brings a pinch of sunshine to this cold winter months. It also comes with some upbeat messages like “Bee Positive” and “Bee Awesome”. As we kick more into gear for our Christmas Tree Raffle we are going to spend every day highlighting a different tree that can be yours! Today’s tree is the handcrafted wood ornaments tree created by the Walnut Valley Carvers. Its stunning craftsmanship showcases a very traditional, yet innovative style. Now, speaking of styles are you more of a fan of traditional Christmas trees or more modern looks?

The Marquee Performing Arts Center celebrates Peoples Indigenous Cultures and Peoples month with a First Friday presentation about Etzanoa, the city of the Wichita People. This Friday, November 7, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Etzanoa Conservancy director Georgia Zavala will share a presentation about the historical city. The city known as Etzanoa and dubbed "the Great Settlement" by Spanish explorers flourished between 1450 and 1700 is located near the Arkansas River in Arkansas City. The presentation is for individuals of all ages and admission is FREE of charge. Donations for concessions are encouraged.

Come compete on August 16th, 2025 at the Marquee Lobby. Doors open at 6 and the tournament starts at 7. $5 to enter into the tournament; one entry per individual. All proceeds and donation go to support the Marquee PAC.
