I LOVE THIS ANALOGY:
You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.
Why did you spill the coffee?
"Because someone bumped into me!!!"
Wrong answer.
You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup.
Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.
Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.
So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"
When life gets tough, what spills over?
Joy, gratitude, peace and humility?
Anger, bitterness, victim mentality and quitting tendencies?
Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.
Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, resilience, positivity; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.

Blessed morning to you all. I am sharing with my FB Family & friends a wonderful new upcoming chapter in my life. After lots of prayer & fasting, I finally feel the release from Father after 37 years at Shalom Acres to move to the next life assignment. Retirement! Over the next few months my wonderful hubby Mark Schaefer & I will be moving to his home in Imperial, MO! Yes Shalom Acres is FOR SALE BY OWNER! I am believing God to bring HIS next person to continue on with this beautiful piece of earth! Please tell any SERIOUS to call 314-412-9612! I am believing God for a minimum of $1 million for this 10 acres of a beautiful home & a flourishing business. Again only serious callers please. 🙏🧡💗🙏✝️🙏 I want to add that I will be finishing out this year with all of my parties. So any of you who are on my books will be business as usual. Also, if you want to have a party before I go, please let me know. I will be more than happy to help you. I am hoping that whoever purchased Shalom Acres will continue my business and I will help them transition over.

Shalom Acres hosted a luncheon today for a gathering of local and a couple of national officials for the groundbreaking of the upgrades at the Winfield Lock & Dam. Including Mitch Landreau White House Dignatary & 2 Star General Holland out of Memphis as well as many Lincoln County officials working hand in hand for our upgrades!
