Italy was everything I dreamed it would be—and so much more. I have been holding on to these photos for months and have anticipated the day of finally posting.

Back in October, I had the privilege of traveling to Italy and venturing around the northern portion of the country with a lovely couple. In Lake Como, the calm water and dramatic mountains made it feel like a scene from a storybook. I had to blink several times to believe that I was actually there.

Looking back, this trip reminded me why I love what I do-traveling, planning, photographing, and celebrating love in some of the most stunning places this world has to offer.

It also reminded me of some
of my favorite verses, I John 5:14-15- I
remember praying for a trip like this and it's just like HIM to do exceedingly, abundantly above.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve seen what truly makes a day unforgettable—beyond the flowers, decor, and traditional proceedings. Here is my opinion of things to keep in mind to ensure your wedding day is as magical as you’ve always dreamed.

1. Be Present
Your wedding day goes by in the blink of an eye. Take time to soak in the moments, look around, and appreciate the love surrounding you.

2. Trust Your Vendors
You’ve chosen a team of professionals for a reason! Let them handle the details so you can focus on celebrating and enjoying every second. Relax and know you’re in good hands.

3. Embrace the Unexpected
Not everything will go perfectly, and that’s okay! Some of the best memories come from the little surprises and spontaneous moments.

I was able to photograph these beauties on my final day in Europe last month. After multiple flight and train delays into the city, I had about twenty-five minutes left of daylight to make some magic happen. Considering the time and the crazy travel, I am so thrilled with the results. Cannot wait to return and explore London again. Such a cool city!

Emma and Bennett celebrated their wedding in the most beautiful church last week. From their families to their bridal party and all the details in between, it was perfect. The most beautiful moment was watching the church doors open and seeing Emma walk down the aisle to one of my favorite songs from Pride and Prejudice. Simply stunning✨

I have so enjoyed getting to know these two over the last year and watching God’s hand unfold blessing after blessing in their lives. It is so refreshing to photograph a wedding that has been bathed in prayer, showered in love, and cherished by those who attend. We wish Mr. and Mrs. Roberts the most wonderful lives together. 🫶
