Due to so many people wanting to attend but who spend family time away during Labor Day weekend, we're moving our event to a new date. Mark your calendars!🗓️

📅 NEW DATE: September 6th to September 8th, 2024

📍LOCATION: Same great place!

⏰ TIME: Friday 5-10pm, Saturday 11am-10pm, Sunday 11am-1pm (Bloody Mary Tasting Only)

It was a hot weekend, but it was a great weekend! Thank you to everyone who came down to the levee for Big Muddy Brew 'n Que. It is the biggest event and fundraiser for the Winona Main Street Program and the support of the community, visitors, sponsors, and vendors means so much to us!

Our 2nd annual Bloody Mary Tasting event had 10 local bars and restaurants competing to be named the best in the area. The attendees voted and named this year's winner Market Street Tap LLC!

The people have spoken again: Backwater BBQ was voted the Best in Area a SECOND year in a row for People's Choice.

Thank you to all the restaurants that make it possible for us to hold this annual event and to all the attendees who braved the heat this weekend to taste all the amazing foods.

I am very happy and honored to announce that the Backwater team defended and won the People's Choice Award once again at the Big Muddy BBQ tasting competition! We featured our Texas Tw***ies and they were a hit! Thanks to my manager Nate Krage, my entire team, and all those that voted for us!
Stop on down at the the Big Muddy today or tomorrow from 12 - 8pm and try a Tw***ie or brisket bowl!

The Winona Area Chamber of Commerce food trailer is stocked with cold beverages, root beer floats, and these yummy cakes in a cup, made by Confections by Courtney! Flavors are chocolate peanut butter, chocolate Oreo, maple bacon (pictured), and strawberry. Take it up a notch and add a scoop of ice cream for an extra cool, sweet treat 😋 The event starts again today at noon!

The annual Rib Eating Contest returns but with a new twist in 2023. Competitors this year are from the Winona County Sheriff's Office, Winona Police Department, and Winona Fire Department. Make your way to the Main Stage Sunday afternoon to see which department can out eat the others!
