The RC world has lost a great man and fellow racer. R.I.P Gary Jackson you will be missed but never forgotten. Please pray for his family and friends as they mourn their loss he was a great Man.

If you haven’t raced at this track yet you need to make plane to join this event. We jaded a blast this past weekend for the St Jude race.

When i was asked about hosting this race,all i could ask Scooter was why my place?! Im honored to have this event at THE not so famous Lil Dega RC Dirt Oval🙏🏻🙏🏻. The race was originally scheduled for August 23rd-24th but being a week before The Crown Jewel race at Backyard,i figured it was smart to move this race so thats what happened😬. Holiday Inn Express in Oxford AL is the hotel for ALL Lil Dega Races in 2024 INCLUDING ST JUDES AND 2 more “big races” and all regular “club nights”😬 but you MUST call the front desk and mention Lil Dega RC Dirt Oval to get the special rate and ive been told it saved $103 a night for next weeks race!!!!! Thats awesome!! Give them a call at 256-835-8768!!!

Im sorry that im so late on this post but its been chaotic but here it is folks!!🏁🏁. 2nd Annual St Judes Shootout(100% back to the kids and families). Last year WE raised a hair over $15,000 for St Judes!!! Still amazes me😬. I got a proof on the shirts today as well but wanted a few things changed so the revised proof will prob come tomorrow but thatll be a seperate post. Spec tire for midget will be the same as our points races(Quasi Speed with stock foam). 10.5 MWM will be jus like our points races as well(10 degrees max boost and all other motor rules). No electric heaters are allowed you can bring a gas heater if you want but no electric heaters they draw to much current and kick the breakers so please no electric heaters thank you

The 7th Annual Barn Burner is quickly approaching!! Info is on flyer- a few extra bits:

Tire rules for street stock and crate late model are the same as years past- Hoosiers, Mini G6t, or regulators.

Wingless Sprint must be on DE outlaw sprints front and rear.

Street stock remains 17.5 justock motor and blinky esc.

Novice street stock is exactly that. Must conform to chassis and body rules. Other motor combos are acceptable- but large motors should not be used. This is for entry level racers.

B-mod: it is not currently on the list. If you have a b-mod and would plan to come race it, please reach out asap. I’m willing to add the class- but can’t for 3-4 cars.

What better day than exactly one month away to release the official flyer for the 4th annual Fall Mayhem on The Farm!? If you haven’t made plans to attend this one already, there is still plenty of time, and if you’ve never experienced racing at The Bullring, you NEED to! Just ask anyone who has! They’ll tell you all about the multi groove racing that The Bullring is so popular for! We’ve started gaining interest in a stock slash/mudboss class locally, and had a few racers at our last event that was ultimately rained out. The rules for this class are pretty basic. Must be box stock slash (12T brushed version). Stock tires, stock EVERYTHING. 2 cell lipo is allowed. Mudboss body or stock truck body is allowed. We will be releasing more notes about the event as time goes on. We will also have our annual Topless 50 late model race on Friday night, followed by our bonfire. Let’s make this one to remember! We were just short of 100 cars last year, and I feel that we can exceed that this year for sure, so if you’re on the fence about this event, DO IT!!!!! We have hotels about 10-12 minutes away in both directions, and self contained campers/RV’s are welcome to stay on site. More details to come in the days/weeks to follow, for now though, just mark your calendars for 10/6-10/7!!! Thanks as always to my good friend Chris Dunegan for putting the flyer together!
