31 years ago our founding father was welcomed to Earth. Legend has it, he walked out and into existence with a microphone in his hand. Letting out a bellowous tone, three nurses and two doctors collectively shed five tears at the sound of his voice. Little is known about his origins, but we do know one thing. He came here to entertain. He is our fearless leader, he is your favored host. Ladies & gentleman, Happy Birthday to Christopher Lawrence Rhodes.

“I’m so thankful to be doing things that I love to do on a regular basis and I wouldn’t be able to see that kind of development and growth if it weren’t for all of the amazing people who have done so much to support me along the way. Since I quit drinking over 2 years ago basically everything in my life completely changed. I love those around me so much deeper, I receive love from those around me so much stronger. Opportunities have been absolutely SLAYED due to my level-headedness, my new found clarity. The people that have been in my life and along on this specific journey for me are not people that I will ever forget. I love you all so much and I’m continuously so grateful to have you all be such a monumental part of my life. Was featured on the Best of Winston stories for DJ’ing Fiddlin' Fish Oktoberfest 🤗 hope everyone who came by yesterday had fun. It was a blast staying behind the booth that long again. Yesterday I think was around 7 hours, and I mixed in a lot of jam/bluegrass which I was “nervous” about as I mostly spin pop/house and some edm. What a wonderful way to spend the last day of summer. Happy fall folks 🫡

The last two years of my life have seen peaks and valleys that I haven’t been to in quite some time. I’ve experienced tremendous heartbreak, I’ve been celebrated by friends and colleagues for my excellence, I’ve spent whole days in bed, I’ve curated experiences for myself that most people would be too scared to go do on their own. The one thing that has remained the same is not breaking the promise I made to myself. The promise I made to my potential future wife & kids. IM NOT GOING TO BE A DRUNK ANYMORE. This has been hard, it’s been easy, hell it’s been something I forget about. But “ITS” always there. The hardest part for me, was the brain-chemical rebalancing act that slammed me into a depression that I was not familiar with, and being shunned by the people I thought I was closest to because of it. I’d gone from the drunk outcast to the sad outcast, so what even changed? Why continue down this road? Thankfully tho I made it to my one year and those people were behind me. Now at two years, I am surrounded by people who go out of their way to make sure I feel included. People who don’t ask stupid questions like “so how’s the no drinking thing going?”, instead I’m asked about my day/week, my business, or whatever fun thing I have lined up next. My life isn’t perfect because I quit drinking alcohol but, it is so much better than what it was and could have become. People always say, I can’t imagine you with 60 extra pounds so I added comparisons pics for you this year 😅 If you’re still reading this, I love you. I love you from a heart that has vastly more space in it than I ever thought imaginable. I love you as a person that has been broken down to pieces of his core and found the strength to start rebuilding. I love you as someone who once couldn’t even love himself. I love you without judgement, without fear, without exception. There was a time the human experience was something I didn’t want to remember. Now thanks to the people in my life, I beg that I never forget.
