I Dunno Eatery Chef Jamel Hatton was born and raised in Winston-Salem NC. He's a graduate of Carver HS in Winston-Salem. He graduated with his Associate's Degree.

His passion for food began when he was a young man at the age of 10 as he watched his parents prepare dishes for the family. After HS graduation, he attended Johnson Wales University in Charleston SC where he studied Culinary Arts and Food Service Management. After college, he worked in various restaurants where he held titles such as line cook, saute cook, sous chef, and worked his way up to head

chef at a fine dining restaurant. He carries an abundance of experience preparing all different types of cuisines. After working in various kitchens Chef Hatton decided to pursue another passion of his which is Catering. In 2022 he started his own Catering business "I Dunno LLC". This has been a long journey to get here but now his dreams are coming to reality.
