Actor's Group A Training Ground for Film and Television Actors If you examine the success rate in our business you’ll quickly see that acting is not easy.

There is a misconception among some that the field of acting is easy; Say you want to be a professional pianist; everyone agrees that takes years of training, but many believe that if you want to be an actor all you need is a weekend workshop and a script. What makes the performances we watch look effortless is the incredible amount of work, preparation, and focus an actor dedicates to build a cha

racter and understand each scene. Much like watching a professional athlete make something look simple, the training required to compete on such a level is rigorous. Throughout the process comprehensive knowledge of the business, agents, castings, and how to get involved in this market are explained and discussed. Our program is ongoing year round and involves training from the Beginner level to the Senior Advanced. Though taught in a classroom style, instruction is given on an individual basis and each student grows at their own learning pace. This allows the actor to progress from exercises to scenes to productions to films. Adult Classes are Tuesday & Thursday from 6pm - 8pm. Teen Classes (age 13 - 17 yrs old) are Thursday from 4:15pm - 5:30pm
