There’s a new Mr. and Mrs. Torrence!! …and a new Daddy on the block! 🍾👶🏻
Yesterday was a beautiful celebration in so many ways and it was such a pleasure to be a part of it!
This sweet couple told me about this special bundle on the way at our last tour of the venue and it blew my socks off! Can’t tell you how exciting it was to watch this family grow and celebrate this day and their happy news. 🤍

If you’re planning your own wedding, you may not have talked to most of your wedding vendors in months but 5-6 weeks before the wedding is generally the time to check-in and nail things down!
Here’s a list of your wedding vendors and what they need from you or your wedding coordinator ~1 month before the wedding!
•Photographer: Timeline & Family Shot list
•Videographer: Timeline & if anyone besides your officiant and B&G will be speaking/reading during your ceremony (capture audio)
•Officiant: Ceremony Outline
•Caterer: Guest count, Meal selections, # of Vendors, Finalized Menu
•Rentals: Final guest count for place settings and linen count
•Bartender: # of guests over 21
•Venue: Finalized Layout, copy of your Wedding Insurance, General Timeline
•Florist: Finalized # of guest tables for centerpieces, number of boutineers and corsages
•DJ/Band/Musicians: Music List
•Bakery: Flavor selections, Number of servings
•Bridal Party/Family: Rehearsal Time and Location
•Pick up your marriage license!!
NOTE: 1 month before is not the time to begin working on these elements of your wedding, this is a good time frame to *complete* them!!

You’re a Bride for a day, but your passions will follow you for years to come! 👩⚕️Don’t apologize for adding “Call my sweet patient” to the timeline or asking for extra set-up/packing detail because you’re a project manager by profession! It’s become one of my necessary questions to new brides- finding out what they like to do for fun or do for a living- because it often plays such a part into the vibe of their planning and wedding day. Your wedding should take on the unique personality and taste of you and your fiancé- and that’s what I’ve come to love the most about weddings! Thanks to LauraAshley Photography for capturing sweet moments like this even when they weren’t part of a standard shot list! #candidweddingmoments #physicaltherapist #healthcareworker #weddingmemories #bridetobe #winstonsalemweddings #ncweddingcoordinator #ncweddingplanner #winstonsalemweddingplanner #highpointweddingcoordinator #greensboroweddingplanner #bermudarun
Pressing linens isn’t hard, but it’s very time consuming. You can save some money buying your own linens for anywhere from $10-$20 each vs. renting them for $25-$30 each, but realize that a large part of what you’re paying for is the work of cleaning and pressing them. Those linen rental fees may not sound so steep when you figure up the time it will take for pressing, folding, and transporting them to your wedding and then cleaning them again afterwards. (With all those food, wine, and candle wax stains! 😝) You may decide that it’s worth the cost, especially if you still have lots of decor to organize the final weeks leading up to the wedding. (Side note, a cheap, but well pressed cloth can far surpass the elegance of a fine cloth that hasn’t been touched since pulling it out of the box.)
If you do choose to buy your own linens, take the time to learn how to press them and to do it EARLY; long before the wedding week, and hang them up until the big day. Because when it’s “go time” for decorating, there simply won’t be time. I’m always happy to build this task into a contract but only if I will have time to do it before the wedding day. Your girl has her work cut out for her on wedding days! 🏃♀️

Different from most other wedding vendors, wedding planners and coordinators can only help make your wedding as beautiful and seamless as you let them.
I absolutely love getting these three questions!
1. Setting the optimal time of your ceremony is *crucial* for allowing Venue staff and vendors time to set up, optimal lighting for your very precious photos, setting the vibe for cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, etc! Please please please consult your photographer and or wedding planner/coordinator on this one!
2. Picking your wedding vendors can be stressful with the many factors to consider: budget, availability, proximity, reviews, etc. but even more than that finding vendors, I can vibe with your personality and vision for your day and also work well together! I love the chance to offer a good recommendation to fellow wedding vendor who puts their clients first!
3. Planning planning planning and then you spend more time passing all of that information on to your wedding day coordinator. I love to ease this process by combining steps and speaking with couples and their wedding vendors together when possible!

Still thrilled that I got to be a part of this special day 🌺☀️🌴
Wedding Tips from this one:
💪Nothing is impossible- you just have to find the right people! (aka your wedding vendors!)
🌺Those details that make the day unique and special to you are worth paying extra for!
👩🎨Never lack in creativity. If you know that creative mind isn’t yours or the ideas aren’t flowing, ask for advice!

I love a good love story! 🤍 Maybe that’s why I love doing weddings so much! You’d have to know this couple to know how well this song fits them!
