As we enter our 20th year since our first wedding and the start of Green Bee, we are incredibly grateful for another year of beautiful weddings and events.

We’re Jennifer Brannon and Jessica Rockwell; Co-Founders and Managing Partners of Green Bee Floral Designs.
Rooted in a love for organic floral design and inspired by the beauty of nature, we work with local flower farms, wholesalers, and foraging to create custom floral installations, personal arrangements, and reception pieces that leave a lasting impression on you and your guests.

First looks of your wedding are such a wonderful gift to yourself. After months of hard work and planning, to see a look of amazement of the realization of an event come true, is always the best part for us.

We will never get over the joy of handing off the finish product to our clients and seeing the joy and happiness in our client eyes.

Can’t wait for another gorgeous wedding coming up this month with our photography friend !
This lovely June wedding with giant outdoor umbrellas was a ceremony showstopper.
The colorful aisle florals then lined the band stage later for dancing. Along with lots of floral touches throughout the reception, guests experienced the loveliest spring wedding garden party!

Annie’s mono-botanical bouquet was the perfect compliment to her gown’s delicate pearl bolero. We spent detailed conversations talking about the silhouette of her gown and the how the hand made piece would look over it. With that, how her bridal bouquet should complement both.

Lots of discussion of different blooms to mimic the tiny pearls. Ranunculus being high in that list. But it was the delicate Canadian lisianthus that Annie fell in love with because of the way the cup of the bloom gives way to light and shadow.

It’s so important to discuss not only the style of bouquet and florals you love, but also your gown with your florist. Your bridal gown is the lead in the design direction of where your bouquet should organically grow; not just the pages of Pinterest.

Not every shape, style, and color palette is going to mesh with every style of bridal gown.

Having a florist that can walk you through pairing the best design that will highlight the most important piece on your wedding day, will make all the difference when you walk down the aisle.

This built in shelf at is the perfect spot to fill with tiny vases or any special item you want to highlight.

It would be a great bar back, es**rt card station, nook for engagement pics, or family photos to share with guests.

Don’t forget to leave the often forgotten spots like sideboards, bathroom vanities, secondary sitting areas “touched”; even if it’s just with a little greenery and votives, for that finished and cozy feel. Your guests will definitely notice as they explore during your cocktail hour and reception.

Happy National Tulip Day!

Did you know…every year in January, officially kicks off the tulip season during National Tulip Day. Dutch tulip growers invite everyone to pick a bunch of tulips for free in a specially constructed picking garden. How cool is that?

Can’t get to Amsterdam? Visit our own local tulip farm, Dewberry Farms. sits on 20 acres and is typically closed for private events. However, on two special occasions, it is open to the public:  Spring TULIPS and Summer Sunflowers. Both events are ticketed events, tickets will be available this spring for tulips start 3/25/24. Happiest holidays and warmest wishes for a wonder New Year from this crew!

We have been taking a much need break over the past two weeks to rest and relax from all the amazing event in 2023; and to gear up for our wonderful 2024 clients.

Every year we are so humbled that we continue to get to do this business that we started in a kitchen and have grown to something we continue to be proud of.
