It’s almost tulip time! I’m very excited for tulip sessions to begin tomorrow at Dewberry Farm 🌷🌷🌷please make sure to show up early to your session so we can start shooting right away!! I’m also 32 weeks along with a sweet little girl so as a reminder I may have to sit down during shoots! Remember you will also need to pay for your farm tickets at the front tent!

I’m a true to color photographer!

When I first started I was always so back and forth about what filter I needed to use or what “color” was my theme for photography. Everyday became a battle with judging myself and if I was a good photographer. Always comparing my work to others. Then here recently I have put my foot down and said you know what SCREW IT! I’m an amazing photographer who puts a lot of heart and soul into her images. I love warm tones, cool tones, images that have pops of color. I want my photographs to reflect the beauty of color I’m seeing in real time. Why take from what makes an image so stunning? When couples spend so much on color schemes for their weddings why take that away instead of show casing their vision as they saw it when putting it all together?

This isn’t a blast against photographers who do have warmer photos or cooler photos because art is art and that’s the beauty of it all!

What I am here to say is if you’re looking for a true to color photographer I’m the one!

Hello! I am so glad you have stopped by to check out Miranda Faye Photography. First off I am Miranda Faye Kempton and I am beyond excited to share my page with you!

I am a simple but busy woman, married to my wonderful husband of 2 years. We live in a beautiful town called Walkertown. I am originally from Lexington, NC and I enjoy the busy little lifestyle Walkertown has to offer. My hubby and I have 2 pooches named Zeno & Athena

Okay, so let’s talk about photography! To start I am a lifestyle, wedding, real estate, family and so much more photographer. I truly enjoy photography and I wish I could have a camera attached to me at all times! Photographers are story tellers. We see life through a lens and this is truly a gift! What sets me apart is I am a smaller business so I can really cater to all my clients. If you think it I photograph it.

My grandfather Dale Cox passed away in 2009 from cancer. This absolutely devastated me and I could not find a path in life. He helped me so much in photography as a young girl; before he passed both him and my grandmother (Mona Faye) purchased a Nikon D40 for me and told me to follow my heart. Later that year I met Ryan (my husband) and he encouraged my photography to help remember my grandfather in a positive way. Since that moment it is all she wrote. I have been photographing since and my business has grown more than I could have ever imagined.
