Attending a wedding as both planner and guest is not something I do every day!

When Matthew, one of my husband’s and my oldest friends, asked Katherine to marry him, the couple asked me to plan their wedding and my husband to be a groomsman.

If you look closely, you’ll see that these 16 foot installations are not actually trees but rather, hundreds of boughs of eucalyptus put together by hand to create a dreamy greenery canopy above the guests.

We initially considered bringing in real trees but could not achieve the grand effect we were looking for. These installations anchored each corner of the ballroom and truly brought the space to life.

Blooming and gorgeous! Ashley and Akash’s four-tiered wedding cake featured two different flavors: a vanilla sponge with white chocolate, lemon cream, and raspberries; and a chocolate sponge with rum syrup, Valrhona milk, chocolate mousse, and coffee nougatine.

Kristen and Alex’s wedding was filled with customized designs including this seating display that doubled as a champagne welcome– where the Amalfi Coast inspired lemon tag on each glass held the guest’s name and table number. Before the night was over and guests said their goodbyes, we quietly switched the display to hold the parting gifts– small jars of local honey the bride and groom had locally sourced themselves to signify a sweet beginning.
