December 9th, 2023 will always be a special day in this wedding planner’s heart. While every wedding and every design is special, some you keep close to you for the rest of your career. Enter, Yasmin and Jason.

By now you know all about their incredible wedding weekend, full of love and epic design. From Yasmin’s emotional first look with her Father to the moment their reception took their breath away. And even what elements of my travels inspired the “dining under the stars in Tuscany” vision for their wedding day. But what I haven’t shared is how this sometimes you can look at two people and truly see the love they have for each other. When Yasmin looked at Jason there was a twinkle in her eyes that only he could bring out. And equally so, Jason’s love for Yasmin and her family shined as bright as the family heirloom ring he proposed to her with.   This very special couple will always hold space in my heart, not just for the beautiful weekend we shared together, but for the way they made me believe in true love all over again.   Happy First Anniversary Yasmin and Jason! Happy Second Anniversary to Anisha and Tariq! This very special couple were beautiful both inside and out and I loved planning and designing this magical weekend for them. From the beginning, Anisha put her trust in me to bring her unique vision to life and the end result was pure magic.

Anisha knew she wanted her wedding to have a boho theme which became more glam as the wedding progressed. Their traditional Hindu ceremony on the first day was classic boho, set outside in the open air with lots of natural elements.

The next day, we upped the glam factor for the reception. We incorporated a lot of black to elevate the boho theme and created a full ceiling installation with string lights, greenery, and rattan fixtures above the dance floor. The result was the perfect blend of boho and glam- and saw guests dance the night away beneath it.

Poonam wanted her guests to feel welcomed as they arrived to the couples wedding ceremony that took place on the beautiful intercoastal of Clearwater Beach. We started by including the traditional Lord Ganesh front and center and from there, added in all types offerings including rose petals, refreshments, and parasols to shade the sun. With a gorgeous view to behold in front of them, the Bride and Groom said I do surrounded by both the warmth of the sun and their guests!

Jessica and Paul’s indoor wedding ceremony was simultaneously elegant and inviting. We adorned the ceremony arch in cascading florals for a whimsical charm while the sweeping drapery enveloped the space, creating a soft and intimate ambiance.

Swetha and Marcos opted to do the Baraat together and it was unforgettable!

The couple combined the Indian tradition with a nod to Marcos’ Latin roots by playing “Suavamente” to conclude the Baraat. Guests danced and celebrated together before the couple’s traditional Indian ceremony began.

Swetha and Marcos just radiate LOVE! I will never forget my first interaction with Meghna. I was walking out the door to head out of town for the weekend when my phone rang. Thinking it was a spam call, I said let me answer this quickly and then I will be on my way. But what I thought was a salesperson on the other end, was actually Meghna. And from the moment she started speaking, I knew I was meant to answer that phone call!

Meghna told me about how she envisioned blending Indian and American traditions together for their wedding day. She talked about how the food was an honor to their culture but she wanted to add special touches for her and Kinnaresh. This was where we really had fun! From the delicious popcorn bar that was a huge hit with guests to the live event painter who capture their event so perfectly, the design for this wedding really came to life!

Using their wedding invitations as the basis for design, we created an Old Florida meets Indian Wedding design that is still one of my favorites to this day.

This special couple is one we will never forget and I am so excited to wish a very happy second wedding anniversary to Meghna and Kinnaresh!

When words are not enough to describe an experience, there is only emotion left. By now, everyone knows the story of how Courtney and Terra were my first wedding postponed during Covid. And how the additional 2 years they had to wait to have this magical weekend were made even sweeter by the arrival of their adorable son Parker just a few months before the big day. But what pictures will never be able to truly convey, is the love. The love that these two ladies have for each other. The love that they have for their children and their family. And now the love that I have for these two special ladies. There will never be enough words to express the joy I experienced on their wedding weekend when we were finally able to pronounce them Mrs. + Mrs. forever!
