The most magical moment of the entire planning process is when I get to reveal the finished reception space to the bride and groom. It’s the culmination of months of dreaming, planning, and perfecting every detail to bring their vision to life.
Suzie and Jeremy’s reveal was so special. They are the couple in the friend group who always host the parties, so they wanted their guests to feel like they had come to their biggest and best party thus far! Suzie said she wanted a regal, elegant palace and for “everything to sparkle”– my specialty!

Anshu and Shawn’s Sangeet at Epcot concluded with watching the fireworks over the lagoon from a Venetian bridge with all of their loved ones.
As a Disney planner, I love helping my couples celebrate their love at the happiest place on earth. We chose Italy Isola at Epcot for Anshu and Shawn’s Sangeet. The private island on the lagoon overlooks the romantic architecture of the Italy pavilion and is the perfect place to watch the fireworks by night.

Poonam and Rumit were married on a white sand beach beneath bright sunny skies and swaying palms. Overlooking the harbor, the pink and blush florals offered beautiful contrast to the blue sea behind them.
Guests were provided with charming paper parasols for shade. One guest in particular was there in spirit, his framed photo placed on the altar and lovingly honored during the ceremony.
It was a strikingly beautiful ceremony in every way.

Today I am reminiscing on Ruth and Robert’s gorgeous wedding in Mexico as I prepare for our upcoming trip to Playa Del Carmen next week. We are staying at Hotel Xcaret Arte which I think would make a truly incredible destination wedding venue.

A reception that enveloped and immersed each and every guest the moment they walked through the doors. The richness of color was so singular with such depth and texture that it practically placed you under its spell.
Using this much of one single color was an unforgettable first for me. In one of our initial meetings, Poonam mentioned the idea of a “sexy red reception” and the spark you see in these photos was ignited right there and then.

Details from Jillian and Andrew’s jewel-toned reception. At our first meeting, the couple asked for shades of navy blue, burgundy, and gold in their design.
For their reception, we covered the tables in a navy linen before adding the florals and taper candles in rose hues ranging from soft pink to dark red, and layered in metallic accents to catch the light.

There was no shortage of color in Abbi and Anushil’s reception design! In honor of their shared Indian culture and Abbi’s Trinidadian roots, we settled on this tropical design scheme.
Unique details such as contrasting drapery, woven light fixtures, and tropical florals transported guests to an island paradise within the Waldorf ballroom.

Abbi and Anushil’s reaction to their reception space truly made my heart sing! Her vision was to blend their Indian backgrounds with her Trinidadian heritage and that’s how we came up with this very tropical, colorful design.

Travel always influences my designs, whether for a destination wedding or here in Orlando. In fact, I was so inspired by a medieval Spanish town that when i returned, I completely redesigned Yasmin and Jason’s reception… And this was the result!
Perratalada is known as one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, located just outside of Girona. The warm stone buildings inspired the reception’s color palette, the bustling town square inspired the dance floor, and the olive trees simply had to be recreated.
In order to create the effect we were looking for, we opted to make the “trees” by hand. Hundreds of boughs of eucalyptus were used to create towering 16 foot installations which anchored each corner of the reception. We hung cascades of candlelight from the trees for that extra old world charm.

We took a monochromatic approach to this auspicious shade of red for Shaira and Manish’s traditional Hindu wedding ceremony.
Symbolizing good luck, prosperity, love, and the strength of marriage, it was perfectly suited to the moment they said their vows.
The couple wanted to honor their dual cultures by holding two ceremonies on the same day. This morning ceremony was followed by an American ceremony later in the evening. It was a truly beautiful day of celebration!

Not a single detail was overlooked while designing Kristen and Alex’s wedding. The soft blue and white color palette was inspired by the Mediterranean regions of France, Italy, and Greece.
Now, would you believe me if I told you this was our Plan B?! The weather on the day meant proceeding with our rain plan– everything had to be moved under the tent.
The result was so beautiful and the space felt so full and vibrant that in the end we all agreed it was meant to be!

This mirrored seating display reflected light in such a beautiful way and with ’s florals cascading over the risers, it’s no surprise many guests took the opportunity for a quick selfie!

A relaxed yet elevated beachfront cocktail hour calls for live music, coconuts, and boats full of cold drinks.
Megan and Jacob served two signature cocktails including one called the “Mexipino”. It took a traditional margarita in honor of Jacob’s Mexican heritage, but used Calamansi juice in place of lime in a nod to Megan’s Filipino roots. In that way, both cultures were intertwined.
I love to use special details to create a wedding experience that is highly personal to the couple. Megan and Jacob’s wedding was certainly no exception!

Blending their Indian and American culture’s together led to these very pretty details from Jane and Zeshan’s wedding, from invitation to reception!

Bringing a stallion onto the grounds of the Waldorf Astoria was no easy feat, but it made for a truly epic Baraat!
I think Zach was made for this moment, he was grinning from ear-to-ear.
The beauty of contrast! A simple yet stunning white cake really allowed the flowers shine at Jane and Zeshan’s wedding.
The cake also held a small decorative surprise for guests… The couple were keen to incorporate their beloved pup into their wedding, so a custom figurine was made. It was placed on one side having a little bite and was absolutely adorable.
Details from Megan and Jacob’s tropically inspired wedding reception. We truly leaned into our Florida location, the architecture of the reception space, and the couple’s respective Filipino and Mexican heritage.
Vibrant green palm fronds were juxtaposed with a warm color palette of burnt orange, peachy pink, and butter yellow. Natural linen was hung from the ceiling alongside string lights and hanging baskets.
The result was transformative with guests proverbially whisked away to a tropical island without ever having left Orlando.
Blooming, bold, and bright! Abbi and Anushil’s tropical-inspired hindu ceremony was a true celebration of their love and blended cultures.
Sweeping floral garlands, lush tropical arrangements, and natural accents were paired with clean white ceremony chairs to ensure all the focus was front and center!
Once upon a dream… After their reception reveal, Yasmin and Jason took a private spin around the dance floor before their official first dance as husband and wife! It was like watching a fairytale brought to life.
