Handmade marshmallows and cereal treats are not friends. So, we make a special marshmallow for all of our treats so that they come out nostalgically perfect every time! Here's how we make our classic Rice Krispies + Ruffles & Chocolate Chip treats, but we can use all kinds of different cereals! Which ones would you like to try??

Toast cereal and chips together
While doing that, brown your butter and put sugar, sugar syrup, water, salt, and cream of tartar in a pot. Bring to a boil and let bubble together until the correct temp. Separately, prepare a gelatin mixture.

Whip hot marshmallow base in a stand mixer and slowly add in brown butter once mix starts to thicken and become marshmallow-y. Pour the whipped brown butter marshmallow into warm cereal and mix together (buttered gloves are a Gram hack!) adding marshmallows, chocolate chips, any other sort of mix ins you'd like! Let sit for a few hours, cut and serve!
