🔴 The city's Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is at Level 3 - Monitoring. The EOC will transition to Level 2 - Patrial Activation on Thursday, September 26 @ 10 a.m.
☎️ The Non-Emergency Call Center will be activated at 10 a.m., Thurs. Sept 26 [407-599-3494].
🏛 City Hall & all administrative offices will be closed Thurs. Sept 26
🌳 Parks & Recreation parks and facilities will have closures on Thurs. Sept 26
🗑️ There will be no Waste Pro services on Thurs. Sept 26 - a makeup day will be scheduled for Sat. Sept 28.
🗑️ Please do not place any items at the curb as they can become dangerous projectiles.
💪🏼 All city departments are fully staffed with additional crews on standby to assist in preparation, recovery & restoration efforts.
💧 Storm drains and outfalls have been actively checked, cleaned & cleared in flood-prone areas to manage stormwater flow.
💧 All lakes with the ability for level alterations have been lowered.

To reduce the chances of flooding caused by significant rainfall, the city is:
💧inspecting/clearing outfalls & opening drain wells to lower ponds at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park & the Winter Park Racquet Club
and removing:
💧 grass carp barriers
💧 risers at Lake Killarney
💧 top weir board from the Lake Bell outfall to allow for extra storage
