We harvested our last round of dahlias for this wedding before the kill frost Wednesday night. Bittersweet end to a great growing season. One more wedding to go for 2024!
A little behind the scenes action from Mother’s Day week in the backroom where I crank the tunes and get in the zone. Thank you our amazing clients and top notch staff for stepping it up again! You are the best! 🩷 #branchandbloom_nh
A little rain never bothers Joey. He’s in it for the adventure. 🚘 #branchandbloom_nh
Sunday morning treasure. 🙌 I love a good nature walk before the activity of day gets rolling. Trilliums are blooming. Look in the places that are marshy or wet. I bet you can find some.
Double tap to like. ♥️

I’ve got sunshine on a cloudy day! 🎶

Are you a dreamer, a planner or a doer? I’m wired in a special way in which I’m best working on multiple projects simultaneously. I’m ADHD and OCD. I like letters. I’m HSP, I have MS and I’m AIFD and EMC certified. I’d like to get a PhD. Gahhh…does any of that matter? I don’t really know, but I’m learning to be authentically me despite the labels. I’m all or nothing, in or out and on or off. This year has been a year of embracing my spazziness as my super power. It’s a unique combination of right brain and left brain function, a brain marbled with black hole lesions, mind you. I’m artistic (and probably autistic) and creative but I’m extremely logical and business minded. I’ve spent years trying to be something else- more normal, less all over the place, you know- work on one thing at a time, methodically from start to finish like a rational person without leaving a trail of things I forgot I was working on all around the room. That person just isn’t me. I love that song lyric, “The girl I tried so hard to be had always been me,” by Dara Maclean ‘Free’. While my many irons in fire approach to the adventures of life takes a tremendous amount of energy, I have come to accept that my actions around my dreams are the greatest part of my inner genius. It’s been a struggle to accept this is my gift. I come up with so many ridiculous ideas it’s tiresome but my saving grace is being a planner. I like to set things up. I draw it out and build it up. I require a lot of sleep and many snacks. I have learned my limits and work daily on meditation and gratitude. This balancing act protects me from burnout and exhaustion. My creativity requires a lot of action and my logical side necessitates a good plan. Things don’t always work out the way I intend, but I live by the “This or something better” rule. I ask for help. I surround myself with people who balance me and I don’t want to experience life without them. As it turns out, I
It’s May Day! One of the cutest floral holidays, IMHO. If you feel like participating and you don’t have any flowers in your yard for picking, we got tulips, baby! Emma picked out first round yesterday- 🌷🌷🌷 Here’s some history on this holiday if you’re interested in playing along: The arrival of May brings the promise of warmer weather, longer days, and flowers galore. In the 1800s May 1 was a day to pick flowers in your yard and hang them in a basket on your neighbors door. May Day baskets can have many different appearances—they're baskets, bags, or boxes filled with flowers, toys, or treats that are left anonymously for friends and neighbors on the first day of May. What makes them special is the way they're given. Traditionally, May Day baskets are taken to the recipient's house and hung on the doorknob or left on the porch in secret, a sweet, unexpected way to brighten up a neighbor's May Day.
It’s the little things, like a Lakeside Sunrise. 🌅 #branchandbloom_nh
I follow a lot of florists on social media. This is Sophie from London. Her silliness always makes me smile. 👀 @u.fl.o.london #branchandbloom_nh
