Founded by Brenda Christie, Bouquets & Beyond Florals & Events is an upscale, full-service boutique and special events business. She has successfully owned a distinguished wedding & events design company for 15 years. Prior to operating her own business, she was employed as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant in the corporate world in challenging business disciplines of Marketing, Accounting
, Client Services, and Publishing. She has also designed as a freelance designer for several luxury wedding and event boutiques in New York City and Fairfield County. She brings her vast floral knowledge, passion, enthusiasm, an innate ability to infuse timeless traditional designs with a modern glamour & classic elegance, and unparalleled event planning talents to her clients. With an original eye for detail, and an exquisite sense of design, Brenda re-imagines the possibilities of texture and color for a look that is fresh, dynamic, and elegant. Known for her clean and luxurious style, Brenda places emphasis on the natural architectural beauty of every floral and non-floral element. She has been influenced and inspired by the ever changing beauty of nature, her extraordinary experiences, creating with distinctive and superior product, and the gifted talent she has had the opportunity to work with. She works very closely with her clients in conceptualizing and creating one-of-a-kind memorable events, tailoring and executing each detail to perfection, and reflecting her clients’ individual styles and personalities. Her incredibly innovative and dynamic design team will also be creating couture custom floral designs on a daily basis for all special occasions, holidays, corporate events, sympathy tributes, and weddings & special events. Brenda is a two-time Connecticut Florists Association award winning designer, and has been featured several times in Connecticut Bride and The Knot. Brenda garnered first place and was named 2016 Floral Designer of the Year for the Northeast Region at the Northeast Floral Expo in Springfield, MA in March 2016.
