Calling All Creative Minds! 🌈

Last year at Redmond Pride, we had an amazing time featuring a local q***r-owned business and centering our theme around them. This year, we’re excited to do it again!

💡We need your suggestions! What's a local q***r owned- business and a fitting theme that we should feature this year?

For the idea that gets picked, we’re thrilled to share a FREE ticket to the magical Cirque du Soleil performance, happening January 19th through March 16th!

... AMAZING NEWS TO SHARE!!

Creating this fun, safe event each year requires funds. We've hit up local businesses, taken personal donations, etc for the past three years and have always been able to pull off the event, but we'd be lying if we said that part was easy. It's challenging and stressful.

We applied for a grant this past September and we are super excited to announce that has been awarded our first ever Grant!! A THREE-YEAR Sustained Support Grant from 4Culture! We'll be using our sustained support grant to continue to grow this event and the comradery within our community! This has been made possible by new Doors Open legislation, and we're excited to grow with it!!

We are so humbled and grateful for this gift of support, thank you 4Culture!!

A one-day exhibit of 12 local 2SLGBTQIA+ artists and their art pieces on the theme "Resilience", hosted by Catalyst Counseling in partnership with Pride Across the Bridge!

Free event! The event will include food, drinks, and an opportunity to connect with the artists from 12-5pm. The artwork will be available at various price points, making it a great opportunity for holiday gift shopping!

Join The Emotional Abuse Discussion for a night of art, healing, and community! We invite you to join for an art therapy night with fellow survivors and allies! Come relax, enjoy, and connect with fellow community members while painting, collaging... wherever your creativity takes you.

No art or painting experience is required. Just have fun!

Have a monstrously good time with other LGBTQ+ youth, ages 13-22, at Myths & Monsters, and LGBTQ-youth planned Halloween Party on Saturday, October 26th 6-9:30pm. We'll be at All Pilgrims, 500 Broadway E, Seattle, WA 98102 with food, soft drinks, a great DJ, quiet room w/activities, friend-making, drag performances, and more! Our good friends at Pride Across the Bridge are working diligently on Redmond Pride which is happening on Saturday August 31st from Noon-5pm and they could really use your help!!

Ways to help:
1) Donations/Sponsorship
It is extremely challenging (and stressful) to organize an event like this and keep it as a FREE community event. There are park rental fees, performer compensation and decorations just to name a few of the things. They are three weeks away from their event and could use a little more funding to help pull it all together! If you or someone you know would like to help out, the donation link will be in the comments!

2) Amazon Wish List
Want to help in a different way? They have an Amazon Wish List - Check out the supplies they're looking for and donate with a purchase! The link for that is on their donation page (link in comments).

3) Following/Sharing
If you are not already following Pride Across The Bridge I highly suggest it. They put on free and low cost LGBTQIA+ events on the Eastside pretty regularly throughout the year and are a wealth of information the the community. Sharing posts/events that you find interesting helps them expand their reach!
