Good morning from The Lowered. This one was a real challenge to get a clean shot of. I think it was well worth the struggle. I’m a big fan of cab over and commercial style cabs on modern laid out chassis. No surprise a town like woodland with its agricultural/steel/railroad background a few of these would be around. Good morning from The Lowered. Parked at the entrance to poorboysmidnightmass this Lowrider/Vicla/socal style Hogly set the tone for the rest of the night. While I love choppers and cafe bikes but when it comes to bikes I’d actually own I’m definitely a bagger guy. And when it comes to baggers this is without a doubt my favorite build style. I couldn’t resist shooting it on the way in even if I did hold up traffic a bit.

I’m for sure a fan of the Patina rides. Well, the honest ones but I never thought I’d see that movement gain traction with the Lowrider Community. Having had cars with spendy paint jobs though never to legit Lowrider level. I can somewhat attest to the stress they generate. Always worried about parking it amongst the unwashed masses. The relief having a patina ride brings must be immense. This one had that barn find feeling nailed and it wasn’t easy walking away from such a clean survivor feeling drop top. I’d have a hard time justifying changing a thing. They are as they say, only original once and the most important parts already sorted! Tops down and She’s laid out!

This red on red on red 65 drop top had my attention. The timeline has been pushed back quite a ways for my own convertible project but that doesn’t stop me from looking for inspiration. My own convertible is Wimbledon white with red interior, white top a rare exception in my fleet. I’ve long had the idea that I’d redo the top red when I restore her and seeing this bright red top had me feeling good about that choice. It was kind of cool to see a set of skirts on this 65 as well. A pretty rare dealer option though they were available through speed shops as well. Always cool to see another Galaxie.

Good morning from The Lowered. Nor Cal is for Customs and they were plentiful at poorboysmidnightmass . This Ford was keeping things classy. Nosed, decked and a bit of shaving smooths the already great lines nicely. But the stance and those wide whites tucked deep in the fenders seal the deal.

Ooooooofffff…. Yes please!!! Man I loves me a rough and ready looking gasser. And for some reason the over bite look of a 57 Chevy w no front bumper further exaggerated by a nose up stance does something for me. The red primer with red tinted windows and fender well headers seal the deal. So bad ass!

So many impalas!!! And that’s just fine with me! 62s for some reason hold a special place for me and they were out in force. Normally it’s pretty rare for me to see one running around up here. Sure if I go to a lowrider centric show they’ll be there but you know what I mean. They are rare enough that it’s a good day when you catch one in traffic. This one was beautifully done and given me all the right 90s rap video vibes.

What a set up. I couldn’t resist shooting this when I came across it at mass. A 56 f100 is about as iconic as it gets car of truck wise. Add a matching Camping Trailer with all the semi era correct accessories and accoutrement’s? Who could resist taking a peek. It didn’t hurt this ended up the home base for a pinup photographer that shot different cars and ladies all night. I just happened to back the Buick in close by and rather enjoyed watching the process. Neat setup and one I could see replicating with the trailer set up as a hang out/podcast spot… hmmmm … do I need a trailer?
