Our Persimmon Woods Place mascot, Pixie, thankfully worked in her role as therapy dog for a second week after nearly a year off work due to COVID. My how she trots down the halls, seeming to know she has very important work to do!

I worked with a greyhound today! Check out this dude’s legs! What fun at Heartland Senior Living working with Indee and his mom, Dr Mary Pat Williams. I showed Indee the ropes😉👌🐾. More later, “Woof! Woof!”

This warms my heart! I ran into a Guest who had stayed with us last fall. She had a wonderful stay and experienced love and romance! Persimmon Woods Place is so sentimental to her, she had a bracelet made with our geographical coordinates for herself and her significant other❣️

“If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. Everything in this house was thought of with your comfort in mind. My husband and I made sure to make use of all the relaxing activities. We went fishing in the morning (which ended up being irritating for me when my husband caught 6 fish in the time it took me to catch one 😂) and in the evening we relaxed by the fire making s’mores. Debbie and Greg are amazing hosts and even better people. You will not be disappointed in your stay here, it truly is a little slice of paradise. We will be back sooner rather than later!”
