The CBC 2.0 Strategic Plan seeks to create community wealth through attracting, retaining and aligning talent; growing innovative business, investment and jobs; and developing infrastructure and product.

The Cherokee Office of Economic Development welcomed their inaugural team of Cherokee By Choice Ambassadors for their 2024 term.

Dear Friends,
This post is so hard for me to write as it’s a bittersweet moment for me. The time has come for me to step away from the business. It is one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make as I absolutely LOVE what I’ve been able to create with The Board and Box. I’ve met so many wonderful people, the community support has been overwhelming and I’m insanely grateful for this season of life. While The Board and Box has given me so much, it has also taken me away from my family more than I would like. I want to be a more present for them so I’m not missing out on so much anymore. My family is the most important thing in the world to me. ♥️

I hope that all of my clients and customers know how much I love them. I couldn’t have grown this into what it is without the support of you all.

With that said, I want to introduce you to the new owner of The Board and Box, Kayla Hall.

Kayla has been a customer of mine since I first bought it. She likes to call herself an OG Board and Box fan. Her and her family are so excited to step into this new position and make it their own. ♥️

Kayla and I will be working together during a transition period through the end of the year. I hope to see some of your faces before then. It’s been a great journey and I’m so sad it’s coming to an end but I know that Kayla will put her passion into this and make her own version of The Board and Box!
