Last night at the City Council meeting, the Hot August Night Benefit Car Show event organizers, Marulli Event Co. / M3 Events, presented a generous check to the Woodstock Police Department Police Explorers Post #765! Thanks to everyone for their support!
Yesterday was just amazing! Record numbers for Hot August Night Benefit Car Show on the Woodstock Square with over 300 cars, trucks and motorcycles and not to mention the estimated 3,000 spectators! With a small crew of awesomeness in our first year there were hiccups but we learned a lot and looking forward to August 17, 2024! The Square was alive! Thank you to all the owners who came!
For those wondering, we are all about Woodstock and purposely did not have food trucks as they take up room that could have cars and we wanted our local bars and restaurants to benefit from the crowds and did they!?! All were crowded everytime we looked.
Our benefactor was the Woodstock Police Department Police Explorers Post #765 and between the 50/50 and proceeds of the event have at $5,000 coming to them in the coming weeks. We thank the three Explorers who attended the event and helped with parking and crowd control.
Huge thanks to our Presenting sponsor Woodstock Chevrolet who took a chance on this ragtag bunch who’s only desire is to make cool things happen in Woodstock.
With an assist from Sundowner Entertainment LLC, Graphics Garage and Schmidt Printing, the event was awesome.
It all comes down to the people behind the scenes as does everything that happens in Woodstock, Ashley Marulli, Chris Marulli, Lindsay Tullar, Josh Berger and all our kids thank you for agreeing to help continue this 27 year tradition keep on rolling!

Entrance to the Square will be open at Throop and West Jackson $20 per entry cash beginning at 3 PM. We hope to see you all there as always spectators are free!
