Poem Women Awaken to Your Strength and Might.
A map-less adventure, a thrilling start, But chaos veils the yearning heart. With dreams untethered, I sail the seas, Yet waves of doubt crash over me.
Out on the edge, a skyscraper’s ledge, The dizzying height, my tether’s wedge. I had no safety net, no rope to grasp, The wind’s cold whisper, a tightening clasp.
No savings grow, the debts entrap, Freedom fades in financial lapse. The fridge stands empty, the silence stark, Echoes of choices leave their mark.
Career and marriage now untamed, no steady ground, Each leap a risk, each loss profound. Planless mornings blur the years, A fleeting freedom, stained with tears.
The carefree dance dims with time, The song less sweet, the climb less prime. Footprints scattered, my path unsure, I chase the fleeting but endure.
But, out on the ledge, I see the way back, Regrets now gone, no longer a burden in shadows black. Perhaps a plan will lend some peace, A steady hand, a small release.
Perhaps its time to look inside, wake my soul ignite my Light, awaken my heart to my strength and might.
