My first ever dried floral arranging class is this Friday from 7-9 pm at Suds & Bottles at Etowah Mill in Canton!

We will be using naturally dried and preserved flowers that will last forever from my “everlasting line”. You will get to pick your vase and your greenery and dried florals and I will help you with creating a design you will love step by step!

This was truly a magical wedding!! I love this venue, this vendor team and this couple! She wanted a classic and romantic vibe with blush, white, cream, and greenery. I used many of my favorite blooms to create this look including Butterfly Ranunculus, Scabiosa, Quicksand Roses, Cremones, Ranunculus, Phlox, Waxflower, Eucalyptus, Astilbe, Italian Ruscus, and Queen Anne’s Lace 💕

Pinch me!!!

So many happy tears compiling these pictures. I still can’t believe that I am living out my childhood dreams of being a floral designer and that I have been chosen by all of these incredible couples to bring beauty to one of the most important days of their life.

I absolutely LOVE meeting with couples and hearing their vision for their wedding day - how they want it to feel, what they want it to represent, the colors and flowers that have meaning to them, and the adjectives that they want others to remember about their wedding and to experience while they are there.

I truly am so incredible grateful and honored and still just in awe that I actually get to do this for a living! Thank you to each of these beautiful couples for letting me be a small part of your journey and your love story!

It’s been awhile since I’ve officially introduced myself on here and I have a lot of new followers!

A little about me:
🌸. I am the owner and lead designer of
💐. I dreamt of having my own floral shop since I was a little girl frolicking in my grandmothers garden and a couple years ago after finding healing through flowers and Jesus after trauma hit my life hard I decided to start a floral design business
👩🏻‍⚕️I am actually a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner but haven’t practiced in 4 years. I worked as a nurse in Pediatric Oncology for about 8 years and then as a PNP in primary care for 5 years. I loved my job but wanted more flexibility as a mama and actually built a very successful health coaching business that allowed me to leave my job as a PNP.
🙏🏼. Now I am incredibly grateful to have two businesses that I have built, but spending majority of my time and energy growing this floral business and it has been the absolute best decision!
💍I have been married for 12 years to the kindest, sweetest, and funniest man that has been the biggest cheerleader and supporter with my entrepreneurial journey!
👯‍♀️I am the mama to 2 very beautiful and sassy girls (Rosalie who is 7 and Addie who is 4). Rosalie is quite the floral designer and says she wants to take over my business someday and I have no doubt she will and do an even better job than me!
🐩🦮. I’m also a dog mama to a 3 yr old English Cream Golden Retriever, Maisie, and a 1 yr old gold Standard Poodle, Charlie.
☕️I love mornings, coffee, and Jesus. I love sitting in my favorite chair with a yummy cup of coffee, a candle, and my devotional books
🍂Fall is my favorite time of year! I love the cool, crisp air, all the pumpkin and apple things, and GA football! Go Dawgs ♥️🖤🏈
🇿🇦my favorite flower is Protea and it happens to be the national flower of South Africa (so naturally I would love to visit there and see all the protea on the side of the road growing wild)!
✈️I LOVE to travel!!! Some of my favorite countries that I’ve been to include Kenya, New Zealand, Australia, Grand Cayman, Holland, and France.

This beautiful bride got married in January this year and she is a testament to one of my sayings “Don’t let the time of the year you get married determine your colors! Pick the colors that you want and that you envision on your wedding day regardless of the season”!

I loved doing all the pinks and oranges for this bride and her flowers turned out so bright and fun just like her 💕🧡

Wedding season is upon us!!! Doing wedding prep today for a wedding we have Saturday and I’m feeling giddy about it!

I wanted to share one of my favorite ways to repurpose ceremony florals for the reception! I LOVE floral meadows! They look so beautiful going down the aisle (or even as a grounded arch at the front of the ceremony) and they make gorgeous centerpieces!

We love finding ways to repurpose flowers from the ceremony to the reception which allows for more grand pieces for both!

We have a few more openings for 2024 weddings and are booking for both 2025 and 2026! We’d love to meet with you and hear about your vision for your wedding day and help you bring that vision to life with your florals! 👰🏻🌸

This was the sweetest floral workshop to date!! Loved hosting the bloom work & play group today at Made Mercantile. This program gives adults with special needs a place to play and work and have community.

This week is their “floral/garden week” and they came today to learn how to make floral arrangements and they will be delivering their floral arrangements to local nursing homes.

Experiences like this warm my heart and give so much meaning to what I do! I love sharing the gift of floral design and it was such a beautiful thing to witness their excitement and confidence after putting together their beautiful arrangements 💐

This couple wanted a “Garden Party”, whimsical, Bridgerton feel for their wedding with Dusty Rose and Dusty Blue. Cynethia wanted a cascading bouquet that highlighted an orchid and said David was kind of bougie and needed a pocket boutonnière 😂

They really wanted an outdoor garden feeling wedding, but due to weather we had to move the ceremony inside so we brought the outdoors in with florals on the “arch” - the doorway at the head of the ceremony and did lantern flowers along the aisle and greenery and florals on the chandelier 🌸

Flowers make such a difference on wedding day. I truly believe it is the flowers and the floral design that brings everything together and helps bring a bride and groom’s vision of their wedding day to life!

I absolutely LOVE meeting with couples as they are planning for one of the biggest days and celebrations of their lives and getting to dream with them about their wedding day and what they want it to feel like and communicate to their guests.

It is so fun to get to know the couples I work with and to tie in pieces of their love story and their relationship into the floral design so that the decor helps accentuate, highlight, and embody their special, unique love story.

Many of you may not know that I am a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I worked for 7 years at CHOA as a Pediatric Nurse mostly in Hematology and Oncology and then 5 years as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in primary care. Honestly I loved it! But the hours and lifestyle ended up not being what I wanted when I became a mama.

I wanted to be able to be the one to take the girls and pick them up from school, to be the guest book reader at school and take them to their extra-curriculars, to be able to go to all their school performances and monthly chapel days. I didn’t want to have to do day care anymore and I wanted to be able to work alongside them and be my own boss.

Thankfully I grew a successful business from home helping others in health and wellness and then in 2022 I decided to fulfill a dream of mine since I was a little girl of becoming a floral designer.

I felt a little emotional looking at this picture and reminiscing on the day Rosalie, my 7 year old, and I spent together yesterday at Made Mercantile. She begs to come with me when I work my 3 shifts a month at Made. She talks to the customers, dusts, uses the scanner to check people out and when customers aren’t there we played Go Fish. She now makes beautiful floral arrangements and has such a creative mind. I love being able to “work” alongside her and show the girls that they can pursue any dreams God puts on their heart.

So grateful for all of you for following along, encouraging our little company, purchasing blooms from us (which means you are also supporting local farmers and their families), and for all the brides that have trusted us with your special days.

So very grateful for this life and being able to spread happiness and love through floral design and be a more present and engaged mama 💕💐
