I wanted to be able to capture my own children, and have worked everyday since to build my business. I have photographed weddings, births, newborns, seniors, families, and everything in between. Being able to stand by people on the very best days of their lives has truly been rewarding. I live to hear the laughter of toddlers. To watch the tears of those marrying their person, and seeing their par

tner walk down the aisle. To hear the first cry of a newborn. These special moments and many others are exactly what I love to capture so that I can stop time for my clients. Even if only for a snap shot. I am accepting of all and anyone is welcome.

Book your sessions from the Black Friday deal! If you booked a mini or a bogo there are many of you who still have multiple sessions! I saw a post from someone in Sugar Hill earlier talking about how some individuals trashed a lupine field. It’s not only photographers, it’s people who travel to see the florals, it’s people who may just not care as well. Part of why we are able to use some of this land in Sugar Hill for photos is the idea of leaving no trace. For me, this means only staying on paths that are already made, and advising all clients we cannot pick the lupines, and we take out what we take in. If you can’t respect where you’re going, don’t go. The lupines shown here are from this year, and I hope to be able to see them for years to come. ❤️

NEK Photography was founded in 2014, on a dream and prayer. At the time I was a mom of one, now I am a mom of three. I always thought it would be amazing to provide quality photos of every life event. This was what moved me to start my business. Since then I have photographed weddings, births, newborns, families, and everything in between. Being able to stand by people on the best days of their lives has truly been rewarding. I live to hear the laughter of toddlers, To watch the tears of a groom or bride seeing their spouse-to-be for the first time. To hear the first cry of a newborn. These special moments and many others are exactly what I love to capture so that I can stop time for my clients. Even if only for a snap shot. I work to customize every session and collection for each client. No two people are the same, why should photos have to be? I love when clients can become friends, and I am happy to say many have. I am willing to try almost anything for a session. If you want a photographer who is willing to throw some glitter, hike a mountain, climb a tree, or even take a swim, I am certainly the woman for you. Each session is a learning experience and I hope to never stop capturing the best moments of each life.
