Out of all our Dearest Ellie one-offs, this one is my favorite! I am going for blooms that have a sunset magneta/pink outer and then the fading sun center.

The thought of planning out the garden and where I am going to isolate all our varieties is a bit overwhelming, but seeing these again & hearing all of your encouraging words is truly what keeps this Mama going!

This one definitely still has a couple of years to go before being released, but I know it will be worth it!

This 2024 dahlia seedling made me stop in my tracks and just stare in awe! How about you?

I had to keep her even though I wish it was taller and less compact. I will be observing it next season to see how its plant and bloom habit will be like.

It currently only has its stunning blooms going for it.

I lost this Dahlia seedling and here is how...

So a note to Future Self is that when marking my Dahlia's out in the field with flagging tape I must also take along some stakes and place one at the base of each plant as well because you see what happens is that when the frost comes and you chop down the plant, the stem shrivels up so that the tag gets a lot looser than what it was previously and the wind just might carry that tag away which is exactly what it did to this one (I found the tag in the field😢).

I was devastated as I really liked this one, but I am grateful for all of the other good ones that we have.

I just started dividing them yesterday, and I'm so happy with how well they're doing so far.

There are no words sufficient to tell you all how GRATEFUL we are for showing up for our Zinnia seed sale last night!!

We completely sold out, and many rather quickly, but we will be having another sale!

The reason why I couldn't put in all of our inventory was due to some complicated tax reasons.

Again, thank you all with of my heart!

I will be busy packing orders tonight after the Littles go to sleep.

Currently, my husband and I are Joseph and Mary with our little baby Jesus at a walk through Bethlehem.

If you live nearby and would love to come, we are at the Calvary Assembly of God in Wilson Wisconsin. I'll post a picture of myself in our stories now.

Since I love giveaways, we are doing another! This one will be of some zinnia seeds that are pictured here and that we are currently working on but have never sold them, nor are we planning to this year. In fact I am still working on a name for them.😁

Please, PLEASE, PLEASE, note that these ones are still in the works and although we have done our best to remove anything that does not resemble what is pictured here, that is definitely not a guarantee that all of the seeds will bloom according to what is pictured. In fact I am extremely certain that although a number should resemble what is pictured here you will more than likely also receive ones that are not at all what are pictured here and who knows you might even receive a brand new gem that you can work on yourself if you'd like!

I am going to do my best to take more video clips of what our life is looking like while we are getting ready for our first Zinnia seed sale and cleaning the seed from all of the one-off zinnias that we are also working on which this one here pictured is one of them.

It has been such a joy to have my little ones come along with me throughout my day doing things together, and spending time with them is becoming more and more of a joy to me!

Their desire to help and throwing themselves into doing it with all of their heart really blesses me inside.

Granted my fuse sometimes runs short and there are times when I don't let them do certain jobs such as putting the seeds into the packet but letting them peel off the back of the stickers and hand them to me as we put them on the seed packets and things like that is something they love doing and is truly a big help to me too!

Anyways I will be more proactive in taking little video clips of life to share with you, hopefully soon!

Can you count Every Single One of your blessings?

I definitely wouldn't be able to cause there are just so many...

But I will try a few here, and then it is your turn!😊

1. Getting to wake up in bed to my girls cuddled close.
2. My husband making me a cup of coffee.
3. Getting to call and talk to my mom & that she lives just across the field.
4. Playing a game with my dad on Monday & just talk.
5. Learning so many things all over again in school along with my Littles.
6. God blessing us with some amazing flowers to grow and share.
7. Having some amazing cream to sooth cracked hands.
8. Being blessed with really good boots to keep my feet dry and warm when working.
9. Being able to see in color
10. Owning a Bible and being able to read it!

Getting the seeds to these flowers out to you makes me feel like this music (wellllll the music was on Instagram🤷‍♀️. FYI I always make my posts on IG & have them automatically posted to FB)! Like something amazing is about to burst forth all across the country and it's going to be in the form of these stunning blooms in each of your gardens!

It really makes me happy and I hope you too!

I just started packaging up the seeds to this very variety here which we are calling All the Beauty because it literally is all of the beautiful flowers that we have grown here on our farm culminated into one mix.

If you love surprises in all shapes and forms and colors, then this one is definitely for you!

I wish there was a way to fully capture this 1st year dahlia seedling, but honestly, every picture I took can't do this justice!

This one was probably my favorite out of all of our Dahlia seedlings, and I am so looking forward to seeing it again next year!

It is definitely more purple toned than pink, and the blooms are at least 5in in diameter, and the plant produces abundantly on tall straight stems.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this one!

I know that this is a zoomed in bloom, but that is because I didn't get around to taking this picture until it was getting old, so the back pedals are quite wrinkly and torn.
