Early detection of breast cancer saves lives- but Mississippi has one of the lowest screening rates in the nation for older women. This year alone, over 2,000 Mississippi women could be diagnosed.

Please join us in “Painting the Town Pink”! Help us create awareness, celebrate survivors, support those fighting and remember those we’ve lost to breast cancer by decorating your home or business in pink from now until the end of October.

Any and all are invited to join in honoring these women Friday, October 20th at 2:30 pm on the Courthouse lawn. Please wear your pink as we pay tribute to those who have fought this fight.

Please join us THIS Saturday, Earth Day, for Main Street Cleanup and Market on the Square.

Main Street Cleanup is from 8 am to 10 am on the Square. We will be cleaning up and planting flowers, so bring your gloves, blowers, etc. Volunteers will receive the new Main Street t-shirt as our thank you for helping us keep Woodville beautiful.

Market on the Square will be immediately after, on the Square from 10 am to 4 pm. Vendors, there is still time to register. Register online at www.woodvillemainstreet.org/events.

It’s time to deck the Square with Boughs of Holly!

In preparation for next weekend’s Christmas on the Square and Christmas Parade, Main Street will be offering storefront holiday decorating assistance (in the form of labor) Saturday from 8:00 to 10:00 am to any business in the downtown district that needs it.
