First and foremost, I am a momma to one wonderful crazy little seven year old boy. Second, I have been a wife for 20 years! I started my career thoughts around the age of 12, the typical age when people start asking what you want to be when you grow up. First and foremost, I wanted to be an artist. As I grew up, I realized most artists were starving artists... so I said maybe a graphic artist or an art teacher. Then I realized just how tough being a teacher really is. I decided at this time, in my ripe age of 12-13 that I wanted to work for Disney. Then life came and I went to school for business at The Ohio State University after I got married. I followed my husband in our business adventures from a successful industrial contracting company. However, my husband had a health issue that almost took his life so we left that situation and started all over. We moved to Texas and we were now heavy haulers for the oil field sector. Exciting stuff, huh? No, I don’t think so either.
Over the years, I did pursue airbrushing and can paint a pretty mean mural on walls, t-shirts, cars, helmets, you name it! However, it didn’t inspire me. It didn’t spark my creative side at all. I still do it to exactly what customers want... but its not my passion.
Then one day a friend asked me to take photos for her. “Who me?”, I asked. I had purchased a camera to capture photos of my son as he was growing up and just tinkered with it up to that point. So, I did my first shoot and LOVED it! I love being creative and artistic in my shoots. I love giving clients what they are looking for, working with them to create their masterpieces to treasure forever. I never looked back after that.
Some more of my passions is baking (even though I don’t do it much), loosing myself in a book, learning new things everyday, creating crafts with my son, learning new medical information, cats!!!!, oh I love cats, and creating.
