We want to thank everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to come to our first ever Mummy & Me Halloween dance. I know there were many activities in Woodward and surrounding communities to choose from last night so we’re grateful for those who attended; we had a blast hosting each of you and we hope it was a night of memory making fun for your families!
I want to and extend a HUGE thank you to Matt & Conyetta Lehenbauer for the donation of popcorn for out treat bags, we appreciate you both so much! Also to Jeramie Johnson & Shianne of J & S Entertainment for the donation of their valuable time to provide the musical entertainment for our dance. Not only are they wonderful people, but we highly recommend their service! And to Elizabeth Ann Terry for the use of her balloons for our photo stop backdrop. She’s the best in the balloon biz, hands down! We love you, Liz!
It takes a village, and I am so incredibly grateful for the one that I have been blessed with in both teammates and local vendors, Woodward is a very special place. What is a party without some beautiful tasty treats? Our next Bridal Fair vendor, Pretty Pastries by Heather, knows all about making the perfect desserts for your day!

"I have always had a love of all things sweet, and a fascination with color palettes, sculpting, and textures. During the pandemic, with more time on my hands than I knew what to do with, I managed to fall in love with baking. A few birthday cakes and a couple of fancy treats later, and here I am. Pretty Pastries by Heather was established in March of 2022 by me, Heather Alvarado, owner, baker, and decorator. My home bakery proudly serves Woodward and the surrounding areas. I offer a wide variety of treats, cookies, cupcakes, and of course, custom cakes.
Wedding season is my favorite season! Seeing the happiness and love surrounding one of my creations, and being a part of someone's special day is such an honor! I am constantly pushing myself to learn new techniques and styles. I look forward to every order, and put lots of love and hard work into each design. This community has been so supportive and kept me busy and baking for more than 2 years now. I could never adequately express the amount of gratitude I have towards every client who trusts me to bring their cake dreams to life! I am so excited to be a part of Woodward Wedding Expo this year, and to show all of you amazing people what I have to offer.
