Revelation & Co. Dance Technique

Revelation & Co. Dance Technique Providing quality dance technique in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Musical Theatre for ages 3 to adult in a Revelation & Co is owned and operated by TeNeil Spaeth.

TeNeil has a dance/arts management degree from Oklahoma City University, a college just named one of the top 10 dance schools in America. After teaching full time and managing a studio in Oklahoma City and directing the Spirit of Grace dance team at OCU, TeNeil was company manager for Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma and spent 3 seasons as company manager for Tulsa Opera. Upon moving back to rural Oklaho

ma, she founded and directed Praise Revolution, a liturgical dance team, and also started and directed a summer dance & musical theatre dance camp for kids called Dance Revelation. Revelation & Co. is founded on the premise that dance is art. It is God inspired and is a part of our lives to be a joy, a love, a grace. While dancers must be strong as any athlete, dance is subjective and not black-and-white like competitive sports. All that said, a strong foundation in proper dance technique is required if a dancer wants to progress to her full potential in the art of dance. It is the goal of Revelation & Co. to inspire beauty and greatness in every dancer while providing a strong foundation in dance alignment, placement, and footwork that makes up correct dance technique. At Revelation & Co., you will find a nurturing, professional, non-competitive, performing arts environment where the love of dance and all performing arts is cultivated and where art meets and, in turn, creates revelation in every aspect of a dancer's life.

The Early Childhood Classes November Student of the Month is Adalynn Huff. Addy is a 1st grader at Cedar Heights Elementary, she is in Combo B Ballet/Tap, and this is her 4th year at R&C!! Here are some other fun facts about Addy:

1. How does your family celebrate Thanksgiving? And what do you like most about Thanksgiving Break? We go to our family’s house, and I love getting to play with my cousins. I enjoy spending time with family and going shopping.

2. What are you most thankful for and why? I am thankful for my grandma because she lets me cook, do crafts, and takes me to Polly Anna for pancakes.

3. What is your favorite dessert to eat and why do you like it? Aunt Willa Dean’s chocolate chip cookies are the best!

4. What is your favorite thing about taking dance at R&C? The recital is my favorite—being on stage with my friends from class is so much fun.

Congratulations, Adalynn!!

The Leveled Classes November Student of the Month is Adeline Bryan. Adeline is a homeschooled 2nd grader and is in Level 1 Ballet, Tap, & Jazz. This is her 4th year at R&C! Here are some other fun facts about Adeline:

1. How does your family celebrate Thanksgiving? And what do you like most about Thanksgiving Break?

We normally see family, play games, eat yummy food, and watch football.
I’m most excited about the break because I will help my mom cook thanksgiving dinner.

2. What are you most thankful for and why?

I’m most thankful for family because they are the ones that take care of me, drive me places, and my brothers play with me.

3. What is your favorite dessert to eat and why do you like it?

My favorite dessert is peach cobbler with cream because it’s so delicious.

4. What is your favorite thing about taking dance at R&C?

My favorite thing about R&C is spending time with friends. This is my first year of jazz and it’s my new favorite because I get to be “sassy”!

Keep being fabulous, Adeline! (And I definitely agree with you about the peach cobbler with cream!)

All you need is love, this playlist all about love (and a few favorites from last May’s spring show), and to see our show DANCE=LOVE Student Choreography Show on November 22! Performances at 2p & 5p at the Woodward Arts Theatre.

I found it interesting that Level 5 had every song about love at their disposal, and they chose mostly vintage classics. We have Elvis, Led Zeppelin, KISS, Meat Loaf, Stevie Wonder, and Fleetwood Mac. You Gen X parents really out their doing your jobs 😉
