Red River Valley Home & Garden Show is coming up next weekend, February 28th- March 2nd in Fargo, ND. We will be there with dahlia tubers and possibly more!

We have started to individually package tubers. Our goal is to bring 800 tubers of different varities. We hope to have the list wrapped up soon to share with you all! The pictures below is just a sneak peak of what will be offered!

We are excited to update everyone of these upcoming events! If you are looking to grow your own dahlias, we have you covered! We plan on having a massive selection of tubers at each trade show.

We will pull all the available tubers for the people who submitted their wishlists at our Garden Tour. Some varities are in limited number, but we will do our best!

In addition to these trade shows, we are planning to have an online store this spring. More online sale information to come!

We have 1 last Thanksgiving Cactus. We can bring it to Jamestown during the week. Some sun spots as we move them outside during the summer. Blooming now with several plants in the pot! $15

The last of the dahlias have been dug, split and are now in storage! We decided to invest in an Air Conditioner with a Coolbot system to cool a room in our basement to 45°. No final number yet of how many tubers we have, but we are one step closer!

Also we apologize to anyone trying to buy sandwich containers the last 3 weeks in Jamestown. We may have bought them out several times! There are 988 of those containers on the shelves!

Congrats to Becca Hagel for winning our tulip bulb contest. She was right on the money with her guess of 5,500 tulips!

We made one of the last nice days count. We were able to rent a trencher and plant all 225 of our peony roots! In a few short years we will be able to offer fresh cut peony arrangements!

We have some of the best friends and family imaginable. They are always willing to drop what they are doing to lend a hand and we could not thank them enough for the help!

As of today, we have around 300 dahlias left to dig and split. Everything else has been dug and stored. Today we were able to plant tulips! They will be the first thing we offer next spring!

Drop a guess with how many tulips we planted this year! Closest guess by tomorrow (Sunday) at 8pm will recieve a package of 20 tulip bulbs sent to them to plant this fall! Feel free to share this post.

We have blooming Thanksgiving cactus for sale! We have a mix of colors and will be posting as they bloom. Right now we have these white and pink for sale and there are 3 available. There are several plants per pot.

We would like to thank everyone that has stopped by and purchased from our cooler this summer! We didn't know how it would work out but it was awesome thanks to you! Unfortunately it has come to that time of year to close it down. Our door will now be closed so if you need something, please reach out!

It is time!!!

We heard alot of people really enjoyed the you-pick we hosted last weekend, so we are going to do it again! This weekend, our garden will be open for you to come and pick your own vase. We will have a variety of vases, snips, and water for you to come and help yourself to blooms. Walk through the garden and pick your favorites to take home. We will be in and out of the garden, but will have a station set up to help yourself.

All day Saturday and Sunday only. 9/21 and 9/22. Cash, check, or venmo.

Please be cautious of plants marked with ribbon. Those are dahlias we have to confirm blooms on. Those will not be able to be cut.

We started cutting tonight for Jamestown Farmers Market tomorrow from 5 to 7 at the Jamestown Civic Center parking lot! We plan on only having 20 paper wrapped bouquets, so come early!

We will also be announcing something huge tomorrow, so be sure to check back in!!!

A few announcements for tomorrow.

Our garden recieved close to 1.5" of rain today, so it may be damp yet tomorrow, please keep that in mind. Please wear good shoes as we do have some spots that may be soft, but there are also support posts that we do not want you to step on with open toed shoes.

I will go and make the alleys wider tomorrow, but identification tags are on the ground at the base of the plant. Lots of bending over to see the names. We will be there to assist you! Tags cannot leave the ground. They are the only way for us to identify the plants once they die back and we do not want them to be mixed up. We have paper, pens, and clipboards for you to write on.

2pm to 5pm is your chance to walk through and make your wish list. Take whatever amount of time you need to do so. The wishlist is a way for you to identify tubers that you want to grow. It is not an order form. At 5pm we will start selling the vases for you to pick whatever blooms you want to make your bouquet. We will be there to help show you the best way to cut stems.

We have snacks and drinks available for everyone. Bathrooms are located in the city park a block away from us. We will have tables and chairs with some canopy tents for seating.

Parking will be available on the streets along with a church parking lot located directly across from the garden.

It looks like we will have a huge turnout, but we have helpers available to be a helping hand! Come join the fun tomorrow in Woodworth!

Great Big Announcement!!!

We know that buying dahlia tubers online can be tricky. Sometimes you fall in love with a variety and when it finally blooms, you are less than impressed. We have been there!!! We are opening our garden this Saturday for a Garden Tour. Browse through the 1300+ dahlia blooms and create a tuber wishlist of all the varities you want to grow in your garden! We will keep a copy too for safe keeping! Come see them in person before you buy tubers next spring! When the tour is over, pick yourself a bouquet! $40 per vase and fill it as full as you wish! We will supply the vase and snips. You pick out what you want! Refreshments and snacks for everyone!

Saturday September 14th:
2pm to 5pm- Garden Viewing
5 pm- Fill your vase!
