I may have found my new calling as a little league photographer this season. 🤣 Bummer of an ending to a great season with a 13-14 loss in the Final Championship. Can’t win them all. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Theo did great, and the coaches and parents were all great this entire season. We’ll see if he enjoyed it enough to do another year, but until then we’ll take home the 🥈.

I used to be super adamant about “unplugged” weddings, and used to have a superiority complex about being the “hired professional”. But ya know what? I actually don’t give a toot what your family or friends do. Ya know why? Because it’s YOUR wedding, they’re here for you, and if they want to capture a moment on their phone or point-and-shoot, so be it. Everyone can do what they want, it’s your wedding, you decide.

Photographers and videographers have the tendency to act like they know it all, and they don’t. (They’re actually really bad about that here on Insta) On behalf of them, I apologize. If your photographer seems smug or rude about this subject, tell them to buzz off.

Reminiscing back to last year when we got sidetracked to DC on our way to Miami. Love spending time with her. She’s been deep in Masters work the last 9 months, working all weekends, being a mom, and of course rocking it all like she does. If you see her, give her a high five or a bottle of wine or something, she deserves it. 🤣🤣🤣

Channeling my inner GQ for new these new fire headshots. Good to have friends with camera skills. This is me, Mike, I’ve been a filmmaker and photographer for 13 years now. I find myself more in the corporate world these days () but still have a deep love for portrait photography and lovely couples.

Fun note: I’ve been waiting years to get braces off for new headshots and then I post photos of me not smiling. 😆

“Okay, kids, a few more pictures, and if you do good I’ll let you tackle me (the guy holding the $6k camera).”And tackle me they did.

Big family shoots are stressful, not for me, but I think parents and adults (myself included with my own kids) see it going one way, and it almost never does. Because kids are kids. They’re gonna mess around when not on camera and get their clothes dirty. They’re gonna fight. Babies are not gonna look at the camera. Oh well, that’s what Photoshop is for, or even better, capturing the chaos is also a welcome sentiment.
