Come and join us to enjoy some of the best local music central Vermont has to offer! The location just off route 12, 3.2 miles north of Worcester Village is secluded and beautiful. The North Branch River crosses the festival site, so come early and take a dip in the cleanest, sweetest water around. Wild blueberries ought to be in season, so wander the fields and graze the land between sets. Hiking
trails galore, a variety of options of places to camp, and when your ready to return to the civilization of the festival, follow the beats to a crowd of good hearted festival goers soaking in the pleasures of a Vermont summers day and some world class music. Rugged Ridge Forest, an organic sugarbush in Worcester Vermont is hosting this event. The sugar shack will be transformed into an art gallery and a stage will be erected in a nearby field to showcase the tunes. There will be live glassblowing demonstrations, a cash bar, opportunities to swim, throw a disc, dance, explore,or just relax! A Kids Tent will be open by day with activities for the little ones. The festival is also a fundraiser for doctors without borders. Everyday we in central Vermont have to remember that we pretty much live in paradise, but somewhere out there, people are struggling to survive under much more desperate circumstances. Doctors Without Borders is one of the most righteous organizations we've ever heard of, putting their staff at risk and foregoing their own opportunities for economic gain in order to provide medical care for people in war zones and regions suffering from endemic disease, without regular access to modern medical care. For that reason, we wanted to bring this great celebration of local art, music, and food full circle and support this great cause. Not only will 50% of net proceeds go to Doctors without Borders, but we will also hold a raffle with all proceeds going to support this great cause. So come and celebrate the easy living of a Vermont summer, and in so doing support a great cause with a global humanitarian mission.
