The Symply Fargone Story
Co-owners Philippe Gut, Glen Gardner, Lauren Shuster and Gayle Fish believe that the music scene in Worcester needs a shot in the arm. The partners grew up in Worcester and have known each other for the better part of 40 years. They have a love of music and believe Worcester is primed for a revival of high-quality concerts that cater to people in the area that have a love
of classic rock, blues and folk. The friends have spent hundreds of hours driving to concerts in other parts of New England and beyond. A question they asked often is "why can't this type of entertainment be offered in Worcester?"
Glen Gardner spent years producing hundreds of concerts in other parts of the country before coming home to the Worcester area a few years ago. Those concerts filled halls in the Midwest with names such as Poco, Firefall, Little River Band, Dionne Warwick, Human League, Asia, Rodger McGuinn, John Waite, Janis Ian, Mudvayne, Disturbed, Sevendust, Hinder, and scores of others. Phil, Gayle and Lauren are passionate about music and have spent time getting ready for the venture in front of stages all over the world. Now they are bringing that wealth of experience and knowledge to bear on this new venture. Club Symply Fargone at Viva Bene and Mechanics Hall in Worcester will be the home-base for the latest chapter in Worcester music history. The best is yet to come!
