There is one thing I know for sure, your redemption song begins in the dark. The things you do everyday that you don’t think matter at all...the things no one notices, the things you don’t get recognition for... it’s all preparing you for the woman you are becoming. I’m not where I wanna be! Everyday I fail at something. When I start thinking of all the things on my to do list, I have mini anxiety attacks that are sometimes really hard to get out of my own head for. The things I want to achieve by now often feel so far away... but you know what?! There’s so much beauty in SHOWING UP!

Owning your beautiful mess and embracing the page you are on in the book of your life. Where you are today will be a vital testimony some day. The struggles you face now will be your strengths oh draw from later. You were born for a purpose that no one else can fulfill! Do not ever give up— your destiny is worth fighting for! Lean in. Show up. Embrace the mess ❤️

Almost ALL of my clients think they’re going to be “the one”.

The one that I can’t photograph. You don’t give yourself enough credit! You hide behind the persona of a mom, a wife, a widow, and don’t realize allllllll the potential that is there and has never gone away. I’m here to take all those “problems” “imperfections” “worries/anxieties” away and tell you that you CAN do this.
No woman that I have photographed that you see on my Instagram feed has ever not had something they didn’t like about their body or their face— whatever it may be, I do NOT photograph what you see.

Doing a bo***ir session will take you back to WHO YOU ARE before life hit you like a ton of bricks. Don’t exclude yourself from this experience because you’re scared that mole on your back will show up in the pictures or the stretch marks on your stomach are too deep.
YOU ARE WORTH IT!

If I have to be like Edna from the Incredibles and slap you silly with a newspaper for you to believe it, I will. If you don’t get that reference, well you’re probably not a mom haha but don’t think I’ll really hit you 😅 I love you all!

Why women?
Of everything I could choose to photograph, most anything would be less complex.
Even with the tough as nails exteriors we try to build around us— our spirits are raw and sensitive, our confidence (no matter how hard we work to sustain it) can waver, when someone tampers with it and sometimes, we just don’t feel worthy.. of anything.

Hey you, gorgeous girl reading this, I have been there too sister. I know what it’s like to feel unwanted, not sexy and scared out of my mind to get naked in front of someone. But guess what??

As women we are also tenacious, brave, headstrong and I love that I get to help you see that side that you didn’t already know was there. The women in the pictures you see on my feed all took a leap of faith and trusted me in the process to break them out of their shell and past those mental blocks that tell you that you can’t have an experience like this. All of those excuses are thrown out of the window when you come and shoot with me.

So, why women? Because we are BADASS and we DESERVE to have a day to ourselves that reminds us that we ARE worthy ❤️

I want you to think about the one thing that you’ve always wanted deeply in your heart, but everytime you get close to pulling the trigger you push it off to say “one day”... if the answer to this is a bo***ir session for you LISTEN UP MAMA!

“One day” isn’t a day on the calendar. “One day” has a tendency to turn into never. The real truth that lies underneath all your reasons why you “can’t” do a bo***ir session is FEAR.

You might not be completely convinced that you are worthy of experiencing something solely to your benefit or your joy. You figure your happiness can wait and continue to do everything for everyone else because that’s what you’re “supposed to do”. You fear judgement, regretting it later, that you’re not pretty enough or being enough in general. The only person who can convince you that you are deserving of breaking the chains of holding you in place is YOURSELF.

Of all the differences my clients have they all have one common ground on which they stand (or in this case sit)...

Every last one of them have had an experience that challenged the way they saw themselves. Some of those experiences rock them to the core— leaving them to question everything they believed as the truth, leaving them to try and make sense of their new normal.

Sis listen closely, you have to stop waiting... waiting for someone else to change your circumstances, the cards you were dealt, your very life. It’s my purpose on this Earth to show you that there is so much power in owning your truth— that you DONT have to be a prisoner of your past— that you are the heroine in your own story. We are so caught up with surface level thoughts while we scroll through social media. We make ourselves believe these women that you see on my feed, have no imperfections. NEWSFLASH! They all do! You say “when I lose 15lbs I’ll book” “when I have more confidence in myself I’ll reach out”.

Hello?!? You NEED to do a bo***ir session NOW. It’s not about walking through the door bold and self assured. Majority of the women who come to me are twiddling their thumbs, talking in a whisper, sweating like there’s no tomorrow when they arrive. But they ALL leave feeling PROUD of themselves. To the girl who creeps on my Instagram feed but never bites the bullet and books:
It takes courage.

Courage doesn’t mean you don’t get afraid, it means you don’t let fear stop you.
I know the “easy” option is to keep waiting until you’re “ready” but it’s going to get to the point that you realize SOMEDAY is in fact TODAY and that there is no “right time”.

Ignore the fear of failure and jump when you need to. I hear so often “I am scared I won’t look sexy in the images” “I’m afraid I won’t know how to pose” “I’m crippled thinking of having someone else see me naked”.

Ladies, I want you to leave that fear at the door. When you walk into my studio, your favorite music will be playing, to help you get into that right mindset. My glam team is prepared to highlight all the beautiful parts of you that are already there. There is a plethora of lingerie and props you get to use. You will have me— your coach, your guide, your hype girl and best friend for the day. I will ensure that your bo***ir experience is the best! You don’t have to be afraid!

People pleasers.

Every decision is dictated by the paralyzing fear of what others will think of you.

For years I stayed STUCK at a 9-5 job I hated. I didn’t allow myself to dream bigger and better. I was super critical of myself (my body, my work) I feared the judgement from others more than anything in the world. Above all, I knew I wasn’t living my life for me. In the story of my own life, I always gave someone else the pen.

No matter what path you choose, you’re always going to have a hater. It’s inevitable! Don’t let that one cloud darken the light that you are. Other people’s inability to see your worth doesn’t make YOU less worthy. Always know that you are more— more than a stay at home mom, more than a teacher, more than a wife etc. Above all, NEVER FORGET: what other people think of you is none of your business. You were made for big things no matter how ordinary you may feel.

You might not have the same capacity in work, relationships, routines, upkeep, movement, getting things done, concentrating or in anything really right now. With so much going on in the world today, shifting expectations to meet the moment instead of expecting yourself to be able to show up at the same level 100% of the time is an act of self compassion. Don’t beat yourself up if things haven’t seemed right lately. We are all in the same boat hunny, just keep swimming. 💗
