The Kostume Room The Kostume Room is open year round. We are conveniently located on 36th St SW (west of Clyde Park) Costumes for purchase or rental.

Costumes for children and adults. We carry hundreds of wigs, makeup from Ben Nye, Mehron and Rubies, hats and hundreds of different accessories.

Happy Halloween Everyone!

We are more than thrilled to see all of you for our last Halloween. We have heard so many stories of all your experiences at The Kostume Room and all the generations of families that have come to our store through the years. All the new customers that have come through our door this year has been incredible. I had no idea how much we meant to the community and it makes me cry not because I am sad but you all cared that much and enjoyed your visits at The Kostume Room so much.. We enjoyed each and everyone one of you.. You have made The Kostume Room what it is and we can't thank you enough. I knew our time here would end one day but it is so difficult especially for me. Love you guys and all we experienced together through the years.

A reminder that The Kostume Room will remain open till sometime in December. We are searching for a buyer and hope we will be successful so The Kostume Room will live on and give you another 30 years of fun.

For the remainder of the week we will continue our hours of operation 11 to 9 pm and one more Sunday open 12 to 5 pm

We have sold alot but we have so much inventory you would never know it. lol. Stop in and continue to enjoy those discounts my friends.

We have lots of new costumes, hats, accessories, some of the best makeup available, hoisery and so many wigs, contacts, special effects makeup, masks and masquerade masks and so much more! We have sold so much but yet our store is full of merchandise.

Thank you to our customers that have come in to take advantage of our retirement sale. It is going well. We have a long way to go and our store is full of amazing items. We are still offering rental for our rental collection but if you would like to purchase them, you can do this also. Kostume Room is providing a discount of 20% or 25% for cash payments on costume and accessory purchases. Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 12 to 8 pm and Sunday from 12 to 5 pm.

Our store is full of merchandise. Costumes, wigs, contacts, hats, jewelry, and so many accessories.
They are all 20% off or 25% if paying with cash. If renting, the discounts are not included, only if purchasing the rentals.

As October approaches, our business hours will be changing again for the Halloween season

Today the owners and staff of the Kostume Room look forward to assisting customers from all over the USA and Canada to find that special costume, scary mask, wig, or makeup for their event. They have put their hearts into this website and store and hope you enjoy it. Due to the security regulations of the Homeland Security Agency (HSA) they no longer take orders from countries other than the USA and Canada.rtainment industry are seeking The Kostume Room as they prepare for various plays, religious events, or new film productions.

They embarked on an adventure of a lifetime. At first thought, they would sell their costumes through consignment. But God had other plans, big plans, as they became the costume rental/retail store featuring a service that people would come to know as very unique in the business.

More than a Costume Shop

The Kostume Room also recently started renting tuxedos for Prom, Weddings or any formal occasion that a gentleman would need a tux for. They have vintage tuxedos from the 1950's - 1990's and also offer today's styles of tuxedos as well. Currently, schools have become more active in book reports, wax museums, musical presentations for their students and parents. Also, churches, theater groups and the Film entertainment industry are seeking the The Kostume Room as they prepare for various plays, religious events or new film productions.
