Sadly, the great Willie Mays has passed away this week and as a way to honor his 12 Golden Glove awards I present a classic 1930’s era cocktail known as the Golden Glove.

Appleton Estate Rum with triple sec, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and a dash of Angostura Orange Bitters makes a tart and refreshing cocktail that’s is perfect for the summer heat and watching Americas past time.

It is that time of year again when I look back in remembrance to all of the celebrities we have lost in 2023. As always there are many who did not make the list this year and to them I say a toast as well.

The overwhelming number of music icons we lost this year has forced me into a second page to accommodate.
