To the Xenia High School classes of 74-79,we are having another class get together on August 24th from 4 pm until 10 pm. The get together is at 1934 Needmore Road,Xenia 45385. We all have brothers,sisters or friends who were in these classes with us and would be a good time to connect with those again. This is the 4th year we have done this and hope to continue doing so but we need for those interested to let either us or Terry Martin know if you plan to attend. Thank you and we will post more information about the get together soon.

It is time to order your fly predators to naturally take care of a fly problem for anyone who has livestock. Fly predators are a tiny parasite which feeds on fly larvae and kills them so they don’t become flies. We have used them for decades and never had a fly problem on the farm despite having livestock. We order them from Spaulding Labs in Nevada and are shipped to us through the mail. We spread the fly predators in areas where there is manure and the predators attack and kill the larvae. These parasites only attack fly larvae and do not bother humans or livestock. We never use any chemicals or dust the livestock. A great and natural way to eliminate a fly problem.

We are looking for a Katahdin or a Dorper Katahdin cross Ram of breeding age,maybe one and a half to two years old. We have 6 month old Dorper-Katahdin cross rams which we could trade for your Ram or just purchase one from you . Call or text Dale @937-372-0881

This is a wonderful time of year when migrating ducks visit our pond. There are 50 or more Mallards on our pond today,I didn’t want to get any closer to take this picture as I didn’t want to disturb them. We love providing a safe place for them to feed and visit. You can see a white duck in this group which I believe to be a Mallard with a condition called Leucistic meaning it has lost the pigment in its feathers and is a 1 in30,000 possibility. It is not albino as it’s eyes are not pink or light colored. Something special to see and observe.

Hello classmates of 1975 Xenia High Scool. Appears there is some confusion concerning the get together of our graduating class of 75 on September 25 2021. Terry Martin has taken the time and effort to plan this gathering of classmates and I want to support him in his efforts hoping you can do so as well. Time is 4 pm September 25 at 1934 Needmore Road Xenia 45385. It is under an open air pavilion 40x64 we have chairs and tables for about 50-60 people so feel free to bring a lawn chair. Cost to attend is $15 and if you want a box lunch provided by Cherry House Cafe price is additional $10. Because of COVID concerns a box lunch seems more appropriate than a buffet or shared dishes. Box lunch choice of Cherry Chicken Salad sandwich or Turkey sandwich box lunches. Bottled water will be provided but feel free to bring beverages of choice and personal snacks if desired. Please take a moment and send a check for $15 per person and $10 for box lunch to: Terry Martin P.O. Box37 Williamsburg Michigan 49690, state your preference of box lunch so Terry can give a total count to Cherry House Cafe. I know this is on short notice and not much time to put this together but hey look at us, we don’t have a lot of time left either. It won’t happen unless we make an effort.
