When choosing a caterer for your special event, there are few things to take into consideration as your conduct your search.

What type of catering do you want? Options include food trucks, buffet, plated dinner or food bars (think tacos or baked potatoes, etc.)

Taste testing is an important part of your catering selection process. Does the food quality and taste meet your expectations?

Does the caterer offer flexibility with dietary restrictions and allergies?

Experience matters. Read reviews, ask for references and discuss what their experience is with events similar to yours.

Make sure your proposal/estimate includes pricing for not only food, but staffing, setup, cleanup, and is inclusive of all extra fees, to avoid surprises.
