What’s blooming in the shop?🌼 This adorable Nurdannia Loriformis ‘Bright Star’ also known as Beijing Grass!🌱 This houseplant blooms dainty flowers and they are too cute!! These plants love evenly moist soil and waterings every 5-7 days. They enjoy bright, medium sunlight and can grow up to 6” tall, they are perfect for those small corners in your home!💚

Yarrow ( achillea millefolium) is our featured outdoor plant this week. We love yarrow because it is a plant with many talents. Yarrow can be used for summer color in your garden as a perennial,dried for an herbal tea, used in floral arrangements as a long lasting cut flower and used as biological defense in your garden. Did you know that lady bugs use yarrow as a host plant to lay their eggs on? Lady bug larvae have voracious appetites and make great aphid control in your garden. Yarrow is a sun loving, drought tolerant perennial that has beautiful lacy foliage and comes in many colors. It can thrive in rock gardens or other hot, dry landscaping once established. This makes yarrow perfect for our hot eastern Washington summers!
