The floral industry has changed over the years due to the increasing use of the internet and floral sites like FTD and Teleflora but as artists we tend to excel in creativity and prefer our own custom designs over 'paint by number' photographs. We receive over a 100 different types of flowers and foliage on a weekly basis from all over the globe, including Portland and local markets. We also carry many different types of indoor blooming and tropical houseplants as well as offer silk floral design services. An addition to our shop is our 'DIY terrarium bar' that is fully stocked with choice ceramic and glass vessels to pair tropical, succulent/ cacti, many types of air plants and other wicked aesthetics like colored cut glass, sand, sea urchins, driftwood, starfish, shells, etc.!!! We have had several workshops for terrarium building and offer these classes here at the shop as well as on site for parties and special occasions for those interested!!! For gift and goodie baskets we are proud to offer Seattle Chocolates and an array of other snacks and candies. We also have partnered with Yakima Valley wineries and breweries and love pairing these refreshing beverages within our baskets!!! We at Kameo are committed to offering only the finest floral arrangements and gifts, backed by service that is friendly and prompt. Kameo Flowers is seeking a skilled Floral Designer to join our team! Qualified candidates will have experience in a floral shop, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work full-time with a flexible schedule. Must be able to stand for long periods and provide excellent customer service.
Wedding, funeral, corsage/bouttonniere, or large-scale event designing is a plus.
