We had so much fun at the Yankton Area Arts Tour of Homes!! 🏡🎄⁣

Thank you much to Forte - Framing, Gifts, Decor for helping us bring the space to life. We were so blessed to be partnered with them and they were such a breeze to work with!! A good portion of what you see came from their showroom, check them out!! 🤶⁣

Thank you to also to our family for stepping in to make the day a success! My mom, Lynn always goes above and beyond to help. Check out her Christmas village setup, this is a small portion of her villages and we’re so thankful she was willing to take the time to bring them down!! ⁣

Big thank you to Tipsy Bartenders for providing warm, yummy drinks for the tour goers! They even made homemade Bailey’s and it was a huge hit!! Check them out for your next event!! ⁣

⭐️ Pricing & Booking Info ⭐️

Our renters are sent a timed code to access a key from our lockbox, directly outside the door to Doc’s. After the rental is complete, renters use the same code to lock the door and return the key to the lockbox.

Payments are due the day of booking. We accept cash or check - checks are to be made out to Doc’s Hall. We have a metal Dropbox in the entryway to drop payments.

We aren’t strict on times for half day bookings, we do allow extra time for set up & tear down for events. A typical half day booking is 8am-2:30pm or 4pm- midnight.

We try our best to accommodate your requests and so far haven’t had issues adjusting the code for extended hours to accommodate half day bookings 😊

We ask that renters place trash in the trash cans provided & remove personal belongings before taking off.

We’re working on setting up our website to accept credit cards & view availability (similar to Air bnb - so customers can view our availability on a calendar & book all in one place) It’s a work in progress! Thank you so much!!

We had a wonderful weekend of events from a rehearsal dinner to two full days of graduation parties!

Check out how stunning this rehersal dinner was on Friday. These guys brought so much life to the space! Shout out to Meridian Décor for working with us to get the perfect setup and always providing beautiful decor for their customers.

🪑Up to 62 chairs available for seating set up
🚽 2 bathrooms (gender neutral)
🛜 WiFi & 3 smart TV’s
🔑 Coded entry for renters to access the space
💰 Payment on site in our Dropbox (this will be used until our website is up & running)

Capacity:
The space holds up to 97 people for events that include standing, mingling, & come/go events (not everyone seated at one time)

Set up:
We have two good areas for food set up with multiple plug ins.

Once the weather heats back up we will start construction on the patio area to add another space for your events!

Event space coming soon to Yankton!!!!!

We are so excited to announce our new event space, Doc’s Hall, located in downtown Yankton! 💫 We have been working hard over the last 4 months renovating this property to create an upscale rental space for our wonderful community. Our business will provide Yankton with a space for hosting birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, gender reveals, confirmations, business meetings, etc.

We can’t wait to provide a space for people to host events! Doc’s will be a bring your own food, drink, and decor venue. We have plenty of counter space for set up and refrigerator space for storing items. More updates/ additions to our amenities to come…. Stay tuned. 😊

Doc’s Hall will begin taking bookings starting April 1st. We can’t wait to release more details and answer questions. 😃

Hi everyone! ⁣ ⁣ Thank you so so much for the outpouring of support for our new event space. It means the world to be able to finally share this space with everyone. ⁣ ⁣ I want to introduce myself. My name is Megan Halsey. I grew up in Yankton and came back to town after college to pursue real estate! I’ve been a Realtor now for almost 5 years (The Move Group - Yankton!) My husband Erik & I purchased 309 Cedar St & 304 W 3rd St downtown and just wrapped up renovations on W 3rd which is now Doc’s Hall 😊 ⁣We’re thrilled to bring a fun new space to town! ⁣ ⁣ I couldn’t have done this without my parents who have sacrificed so much to help us renovate. The four of us and many family members completed all of these renovations together (besides electric- Power Source Electric did an excellent job here!) ⁣ ⁣ My dad, Scott, can figure just about anything out and loves to work construction- he is a doctor at Avera and I think he spent just as many hours at our building as he did at the hospital the past 4 months. No idea was too big. ⁣ ⁣ My mom, Lynn, owns Sunrise Coffee and can transform just about anything with paint (along with her sisters- my amazing aunts who came down multiple times to paint!) My mom and sisters were my sounding board for every crazy idea. ⁣ ⁣ My husband, Erik, designs timber frame homes for a living and grew up working with his dad who is a contractor. Erik created many renderings for me and helped tremendously with bringing my design choices to life. ⁣ ⁣ My father-in-law, Steve, helped with framing and spent many weekends in Yankton with us. ⁣ ⁣ Without everyone’s help, my dreams couldn’t have become a reality and I’m forever grateful! ⁣So much time was spent transforming this space and I wanted to share a bit from the process. Can’t wait to serve this community & offer a space for many memories to be made!! 💛
