𝙷𝚘𝚠 𝚝𝚘 𝚐𝚎𝚝 𝚙𝚎𝚊𝚔 𝚙𝚎𝚛𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚖 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚙𝚎𝚘𝚗𝚒𝚎𝚜:

🔅Peonies will arrive in tight bud form that will begin to open quickly.

🔅In order for peonies to open fully, use properly measured flower food in their hydrating buckets, in room temperature water.

🔅Peonies have a relatively short vase life and blow open rather quickly. Knowing what stage your peony is in will help you determine how best to process your blooms to their fullest potential.

🔅There are basically 4 stages of peony development: •Tight Bud •Marshmallow •Cracking and • Fully Bloomed. Peonies can go from the Tight Bud stage to Cracking stage in 24 hours.

🔅Once peonies reach the Cracking stage, they generally reach the fully bloomed stage within 24 hours.

🔅We recommend having your peonies arrive 2-3 days prior to your event and keeping them at room temperature. 𝑫𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒂 𝒄𝒐𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒓 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓. Let them open naturally.

🔅🐇If you need to open them quicker, place freshly cut stems in hot (not boiling) water. If you need additional speed, place them in the sun or in a heated space.

🔅🐢 If you need to slow down their opening, take stems out of water, wrap completely (stems and blooms) in newspaper, and lay flat inside a cooler or refrigerator. Make sure all fruits and vegetables are bagged up or removed from the refrigerator. Also, keep in the center section of the refrigerator - away from walls or the top of the fridge.
