A Nightmare On Congress Street York, SC

A Nightmare on Congress Street is coming, on Halloween evening! We had hoped to have it at our new venue, but that isn't possible, so we'll be having it at our studio! We will still have a lot of the same fun activities- costume contests, great music, pumpkin painting, cookie decorating, trick or treating, fun selfie sets, and more! We will also have a new and improved Salem set, complete with the Sanderson Sisters! Stay tuned for more details!

We are trying very hard to have this event for the 4th year this Halloween! We've had some issues with the City and all their requirements, and with decreased funding. We are a small business who just want to offer this event as a service to our beloved community, and don't have a big budget to put toward it. We are in the process of hopefully acquiring a sponsor to cover the costs this year, but may also have some fundraising in the Fall to help! We're thinking about offering Supper with The Sanderson Sisters, kind of a character dining experience, IF we can get the help of a local restaurant. If y'all have any other ideas, please let us know!

Update- with some of your comments when we first posted this, we decided that we're going to do some fundraising to try to offset costs for next year. One thing we thought of was kind of along the lines of a Disney character dining, people would pay to have dinner with the Sanderson Sisters, get lots of pictures with them, maybe even sing our song? We could offer an adult night along with a kids lunch maybe. What are some other ideas that y'all might have?

Due to several complications with the city this year, we are probably not going to be able to put on this event next year. Thanks so much for an awesome turn out!

We busted our butts to bring a fun, safe Halloween event for the community so we’re very disappointed. 😞😞

We wanted to perform it live, but that is challenging, then we wanted to show the video at our event tonight, but that also proved challenging, and just took time that we didn't have. So, here it is! We want to welcome back 6-ft-under.com to our event! They did the fantastic cemetery last year, and this year will be doing a haunted pumpkin patch with a vintage truck! Lots of fun photo ops for you!

When you get to our event, there will be a check-in table at East Liberty & North Congress St. and one at Madison Street and North Congress Street. There will also be one at the main table by the DJ. Please sign how many are in your group and your zip code at one of those tables so we can keep track for the City. Thank you!

We'll be having our Hocus Pocus coloring contest again! Drop by our studio- J & K Paints & Pixels at 31 N. Congress St or The Blush Blossom Boutique at 41 N. Congress St to pick up the coloring page. After you color it, return it to either place with your contact info on the back, by October 29! Judging (for different age categories) will take place at 5pm during A Nightmare On Congress Street!
