I finally went througk my photos from Colorado. Nothing outrageous or groundbreaking... I barely took photos actually. There is so much I want to say about this trip, but when I try to put it into words, I can't seem to find the right ones!

I finally feel seen in a group I've admired for so many years. I feel loved, supporter and cared for. Plus no one ever batted an eye when I dropped an F-bomb or 6.

The day I met my husband I had no clue we would one day get married or have kids! I was 18, naive AF, and actually dating another boy.

But we grew close as friends and I can still remember the day I knew that if we started dating, I was going to marry him.

Here we are, 8 years later, married, two kids, a dog and two cats. Happy as f**k (95% of the time).

I always knew he would be a great dad and now I get to document it 📷 and prove it to him everyday.

This photo will always mean more to me than a standard portrait.

Why?

Because he is genuinely laughing, tickling the girls like he always does, in our messy playroom with no door, that will one day not contain all those toys. It's a memory that will quickly pass and be forgotten unless otherwise documented by my camera.

I hope our girls will look at this photo fondly and be transported back to this moment.
