Jazz concert with the David Pankey Trio will be INSIDE in the Family Life Center this Saturday, June 19th due to the expected heat. Opening music begins at 4:15 with the Trio beginning at 5 pm. Roman’s All Star Café Food Truck will be providing the food options along with locally made desserts. Beginning at 3 and 3:30 pm there will be tours of the Clay Hill Cemetery as part of our celebration of Juneteenth.

Allison Creek Bluegrass Is Back with The Golden Valley Crusaders
I am pleased to announce the Allison Creek Bluegrass and Allison Creek Jazz is combining forces and is becoming Allison Creek Music Series. Allison Creek Music Series will be holding its concerts on the 3rd Saturday of each month beginning March – June, and August – November. These concerts and until further notice will be held outdoors, weather permitting, following CDC guidelines. Bring a chair (We will have chairs available), a mask, and socially distance yourself from others. We are also having these concerts live through the Allison Creek Presbyterian Church YouTube channel.
The scheduled events will be:
• 4:00 - until Food Truck and Deserts made by Church Volunteers
• 4:15-4:45 Opening Act
• 5:00 – 7:00 Featured Band
March 20th concert will start off with Chuck & Lisa McClure as our opening act and our feature band is The Golden Valley Crusaders
April 17th concert will feature David Pankey Trio
May 15th concert will feature Cottonwood
June 19th Concert will feature David Pankey Trio
Come join us for a great night of legendary music, food, fun and fellowship. This event's food will be provided Romans All-Star Café, the menu to be posted soon AKA Roman's Treats & Dogs.

We will continue to have more great talent booked for the rest of the year so save the third Saturday of each month, so you don’t miss a single show.

As always, the Allison Creek Bluegrass concerts are free, however donations needed from the audience and our online viewers to pay the band and other Allison Creek Presbyterian Church Outreach activities.

We are looking forward to great Bluegrass in 2020, we are changing up our schedule to have four great concerts next year. With so many requesting we bring back Destination Bluegrass, we have already booked Destination Bluegrass for March 14th. The following three concert events dates are set for June 13th, August 8th and November 14th, we will announce the bands soon.
See you all next week November 9th at Allison Creek Bluegrass with Cottonwood.

Hope everyone has a great 4th of July week. Bluegrass is closed during July to give everyone a break but we will be back in August with our new showtime on Saturday, August 11th with the great band Cottonwood featuring Guitar, Fiddle, Banjo, Mandolin and Bass. Always a great night with them. We have more great talent booked for the rest of the year and will have more announcements coming soon. Come join us.

We had a great show last night. RDR Bluegrass knocked it out of the park again. We are now on our Summer break and will return to begin year number 20 on Saturday, August 11th. We want to thank everyone for their support for the last 19 years and look forward to even bigger and better future for the show in our new time slot of Saturday night.

This Thursday, June 21st., Allison Creek Bluegrass will host RDR Bluegrass, a band that is formed from the combination of former members of The Bullock Creek Cowboy Church Band and Bluegrass Travelers. Thank to everyone who came out for bluegrass last Thursday. We had a great band and a nice crowd. The next show is going to be on Thursday, May 3rd and will feature Trinity Bluegrass Gospel. They do a good job of harmony and great musicians. On May 17th, we will have COuntry Grass, a crowd favorite and on Thursday June 7th we will feature a band we have not heard for a while called Timber Ridge. Come join us. We have good food, good music and a lot of fun. Remember, starting in August, our show will be on the second Saturday of every month. We will start a bit earlier than we do now and we already have some great talent lined up. Come see us. Tell your friends.

We have another great show lined up for this Thursday, April 5th. The Griggs will be back for a return visit to our stage. We have hosted them many times and always enjoy their show. On Thursday, April 19th, we will host Bluegrass Traditions. on May 3rd, we will host Trinity Bluegrass Gospel and on May 17th we will host Country Grass. Come join us as we get ready to begin our 20th year of bringing great bluegrass to York County. We have some great changes coming also. We will begin having a show on Saturday night.
