Wow..30 years ago we grilled Steaks for the employees of Standard Register for 1 million
Hours accident free production. Can't believe it was that long ago...just found this deck of cards they gave me on that special day...

We will be closed for sometime due to selling both our properties on Lincoln Hwy. Captain Crab will tentatively we reopening our carry-out location sometime in August and in addition to his retail seafood store will be offering our line of sauces and will be offering Catering Service for various selections
We will miss all our loyal Customers and would like to Thank each and everyone of you for your continued support over the last 3+ decades.

We have lived near the top of Mt. Zion Hill for all but 46 years. Way before the Mall was built and enjoyed the area for nearly as much of that time. Back when Pheasants were plentiful and lots of Deer and sometimes Turkey and Fox and even once a Bear not to mention a Great View and Peace and Quiet. For the past 4 to 5 Years The situation has dramatically Changed with Huge equipment moving ground which caused our Home to vibrate at times, Tri-axle dump trucks moving soil away, sometime bringing it back or moving it around on the construction site and Constant beeping from equipment moving in reverse then finally leaving the site after maybe over a year or so. Finally no more Trucks going by our house from early morning to late in the day and dusty dirty conditions gone. Only to bring the next phase of building homes for a few years with more noise from early morning to some days until dusk. All in All nearly five years of living with this Crap. Finally back to Normal ? Now some wildlife visits are gone replaced with constant Barking Dogs, Great View replaced with Roof Shingles and vinyl siding redirection of traffic which actually has increased traffic on Ridgewood Rd and speeding traffic as well and even a recent drug bust in one of the homes in this wonderful sea of homes in this development. But at least it will bring in more revenue for the township and School District which maybe will bring us some relief...or Not. There are already Homes with For Sale signs in this new development..not sure why...but after 75 years in this life I'm retiring from my Full time 2 Careers and maybe flying south along with birds looking for a better place to enjoy. Thanks to a Local Retired Doctor who made this all happen for whatever reason He Had......

Today was incredible how many of.our regular customers came to our first day of our Yard Sale..
Tomorrow is Day two which starts at 9:00 a.m. up until 3:00 p.m. with more
Great buys of collector 🐖 🐷 pigs or just some souvenir to remember Porkys BBQ. We still have lots of Catering equipment and smaller items for Home use or the part time Caterer. Lots of other items we have accumulated over the years as well. We will have pulled Pork sandwiches,hot dogs and Smoked Sausage sandwiches
Capt.Crab will be open with seafood sandwiches and his awesome fresh cut f.fries as well. Tomorrow will cap off our Yard Sale so don't miss out on this opportunity to be able to get something you may just need or save something for remembering Porkys Place BBQ.

So Today We fed all the Participants and Volunteers at the 41st Special Olympics held at York College Campus...
VERY SPECIAL THANKS TO
PARMA PIZZA FOR DONATING PIZZA 🍕 FOR OVER 200.ATTENDEES..This Event has become my Favorite Event each Year and look forward to being there every Year..
Seeing so many great people each year after year.Best part of this Day is no mention of outside distractions such as politics,conflicts in other countries,conflicts in our nation,crimes,scams or just general complications,complainers or rudeness because there is too much of other of things being done here...
Spreading ❤️ Love all day amongst Themselves and not having a care in the world about anything else but that..
That's Why it's a Special Day.
Too Bad this isn't practiced every Day instead of once every year...What a Wonderful World This Could be...Try to visit next year ...I can always use a helping hand.
