It’s time to think about a new round of CSA flowers. And it’s a big one.
Yes the dahlias are staring to flower on awkward stems so we start by bringing them into our mini masons and arrangements. After that first cut they start taking off and produce enough to accommodate bunches of 10 for our CSA dahlia flower share, plus bouquets, masons, arrangements and wholesale orders.
Next share starts the week of August 7 through mid September. This is by far the most abundant share of the season.
BONUS: Pickup at Anther farm and tour the flower fields.

Why grow organic flowers? Because the people who handle them and the insects that pollinate them can’t see the poison that rubs off on them as they handle stems and flowers. Because organic flowers engage multiple senses not just look pretty.
Because organic flowers are sustainable using resources available locally.
If you would like to get in on the CSA fun you can order buckets of blooms in advance throughout the summer. Ordering in advance helps us know how many to plant and funds the next crop.
