Happy 3 Year Anniversary to us! 🎉 From the first day we met freshman year of high school, to not seeing each other for over a decade, to reconnecting during life’s difficult moments, all along God had a plan and had us in mind for each other.

It makes me emotional that God really cares about the little details. It’s clear that he brought us together for His greater purpose. We are so blessed to walk through life together. As best friends, as husband and wife, and also as business partners.

Hello all! Time for a reintroduction. 😊 Our names are Gracie and Angelo Felix, owners of Felix Wedding Films!

We work with an amazing team of servant-hearted filmmakers whose names are Alex, Sydney, and Emilie. We are all passionate about weddings and love to serve our couples and planners well.

Here are a few things that describe
✨Felix Wedding Films✨

1️⃣ We capture your day genuinely and craft your films in a way that authentically display your story.

We don’t do “copy paste” films. We get to know you through discovery calls, email communication, and in person meetings when possible. (Don’t worry if you’re a busy person; we will not bombard you with tasks. We can adapt our processes to best take care of you without over involving you beyond what you desire.)

2️⃣ We help you feel comfortable in front of the camera.

TRUST me, you WILL NOT look or feel awkward in your films. This is a common concern that our couples express to us upon inquiring and I can confidently tell you that not one of our couples has looked awkward in their films. You don’t have to be a model to have amazing wedding films or feel confident in front of the camera!

3️⃣ We customize the experience to best fit YOU.

We don’t automate ANYTHING. Nothing. Any time you reach out to us, it is me personally writing an email or text response to you. Every couple is different and each has unique preferences. We do have processes in place to make sure we are taking care of our couples well, but we take those set processes and customize them to fit what is best for each specific couple. 🤗

We have officially been working in the wedding industry for over 4 years, although we have been practicing our craft for even longer than that!

We work with a small team of the BEST filmmakers! We are all passionate about preserving wedding memories that you will want to look back on for years to come.

Our whole “motto” as of lately is “your wedding isn’t a photoshoot, and it shouldn’t feel like it”. What that means to us is that we specialize in capturing your wedding day as it happened with minimal posing/prompting limited to just the portrait sessions. We believe that your wedding day is uniquely beautiful and we will capture it in a way that honors its beauty.

All that being said, we would describe our style as cinematic, yet authentic. Timeliness, yet creative. We love working with couples who fully trust our creative vision and expertise when it comes to wedding filmmaking. ☺️

Tips for reaching out to vendors. 🎉

✨ Introduce yourself - what’s your name? ☺️
✨ When the vendor sends you a custom quote, thank them for their time!
✨ Be open and honest if something is holding you back from booking (we love honesty and grow from your feedback).
✨ Don’t ghost 👻 - if you have moved on, or you’re going in another direction, kindly, let the vendor know. They will be grateful for your update, trust me!
✨ Book vendors that not only fit the budget but also fit your personalities! Especially vendors you will spend a lot of time with.
✨ Reach out sooner rather than later. Many vendors book up pretty quickly.

Our last wedding of the year. 🥹🥲 Madison and Jon made it clear that they wanted Jesus to be at the center of their wedding and their marriage. They surprised their guests by leading a worship session where they both sang and played their hearts out for the Lord. It was a beautiful night!

We love it when couples and families incorporate prayer on their wedding day. As followers of Jesus, prayer is so important to us and it’s so beautiful to see others valuing talking with the Father as well. We always pray for peace for our couples on their wedding days and blessings over them as they begin their journey of marriage. I think back to a Bible verse I read in James 5 about how prayer is “powerful and effective”. We have seen this to be so true in our lives and we love sharing this special part of our lives with our couples. ♥️

Sarah and her dad couldn’t help but make me laugh during their first look. 😂 I would definitely describe our film style as more documentary and not a big production, but of course we do use mics for sweet, intimate moments like this. By working closely with the photographer and planner at each wedding, we capture the day without interrupting private moments. Prior to the first look and other important moments, we mic you and set up in a way that allows you to feel like we aren’t even there. Usually we are using long lenses so that we can stand pretty far back. Tips for finding your wedding videographer 🥳🎥Ask your current vendors, family, and friends for recommendations for reliable and talented videographers. It’s 2024, so another great way to search for local videographers is through Instagram. Search [Your City/State] followed by [Wedding Videographer] to see some local options (ex: Georgia Wedding Videographer). Browse profiles until you find a style you like, then visit that videographer’s website to look through their portfolio. Remember, Instagram is just a snippet of a videographer's work, so I recommend you watch a few of their full wedding films to get a better idea of their filming and editing style. Keep in mind, well established videographers usually maintain the same colors and overall editing style throughout all their films, though many (like us) will edit each film to fit the specific personalities of each unique couple. Once you have narrowed your choices down, have a call with your possible videographer to see if your personalities match well and their collections are within your spending parameters. Once you have found a videographer that fits your style, personality, and budget, CONGRATULATIONS! You have found your ideal videographer. 🥳🥳

Rachel & Leo’s intimate wedding celebration was nothing short of extraordinary. They were surrounded by their closest family and friends to celebrate the love that they have cultivated together. They even had their fur baby join them on their special day!
