Nice to be in another newspaper so soon. This one’s for the Champion Times about our film shoot for the comedy “Curly” with Beverly Washburn from the Disney classic Old Yeller and Star Trek. She also acted with comedy legend Lou Costello in his only serious role ever in an episode of Wagon Train and had a hit music single on the pop charts back in the 60s. Anyone interested in being in the movie can message me. It’s all in the early stages now but will ramp up later this year or early next year. 🎥 🍿

So where do you park? Wehave parking on west ave, on mahoning west of west ave on the west side of the street, parking at the manechore on Marshall and behind the old Flynns tires off of Marshall.

Here are some photos of one of our digital billboards at night for the Mahoning Valley Comicon. This one is on 46 in Austintown, then we have others on 224 in Boardman, South Ave in Youngstown, and on the corner of Glenwood Ave and Western Reserve Rd in Boardman.

How is this for the final guest announcement? Tara Buckman from Burt Reynold's The Cannonball Run will be joining us on July 6th & 7th at the Mahoning Valley Comicon in downtown Youngstown, Ohio. She was also in the Burt Reynold's film Hooper and guest starred with Jamie Lee Curtis in a famous Buck Roger's episode. She's appeared on T. J. Ho**er with William Shatner, Chips, and co-starred in the infamous horror film Silent Night, Deadly Night.

Youngstown’s Mahoning Valley Comicon will be July 6th & 7th at the Calvin Center for the Arts facility. Special guests include Star Trek’s Captain Pike, actor Sean Kenney from the Menagerie I & II, he also played the recurring character Lt. DePaul in the original Star Trek. Joining him is Beverly Washburn from the original Star Trek episode The Deadly Years, she also starred in the cult classic horror film Spider Baby with Sid Haig, and was a child actor co-starting in Disney’s classic Old Yeller and Superman and the Mole Men starring George Reeves. Our comic book guest of honor will be Marvel Comics Steve Geiger who’s best know for his comics Web of Spiderman, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, And more. Mr. Geiger has worked for Marvel since the 1980s and he also created two iconic Batman comic book covers for DC. Mr. Geiger will be doing something special for this years show, if you bring any two comics that he’s worked on he will autograph them for FREE (limit 2 per family). Other guests include Cosplay Star Knightmage, The Walking Dead’s Jeremy Ambler, and more! The two day event includes costume contests with cash prizes, panel room, food, and of course lots of great vendors! Show times are Saturday 11am to 6pm and Sunday 12pm to 6pm. Admission is $10 and kids 10 & under are FREE (with a paid adult). We do have a few vendor spots left, they are $115 for a 10x10 area for the weekend.
